Chen's Garden — Restaurant in Town of East Hampton

Well let me first say that I've been going to Chen's for years! They are a friendly family run business! Had one incident a while back where my daughter were looking for a beverage and they kept opening up the fridge well that set the grandma off and she came out yelling at my kids! I could have handled it without the nastiness! I decided a year later to go back the food is hot and cold but it's better than some places and sometimes I wonder what I'm eating as my hisna d and kids do to. Well tonight I go and get my daughter take out and a loud woman told me to ask them for the bag of fortune cookies for 2 dollars so I did and they told me that the woman was crazy and she didn't know what she was talking about! I told them I'd buy a bag of fortune cookies for 2 but they said no! I later saw he same woman in stop and shop and she came up to me and asked if they sold me the bag of cookies for 2 dollars and I said no they wouldn't give that to me and she said loudly really well isn't that a kick in the face!!!! I think my time at Chens is done all my daughter wanted was fortune cookies and yet they wouldn't sell me a bag! They called he woman crazy I could have told her that but I didn't so anyway it's time to find a new Chinese...

I recently moved to Montauk NY and i have tried two Chinese places in Montauk one in Sag Harbor and two in East Hampton. Being that Chinese food is my favorite I'm pretty picky with what i eat. I hated every place i tried except for Chens Garden! The customer service is unbelievable they remember not only me but what my favorite food is every time i walk in! There prices are fair and they have no credit card minimum which is so helpful because i rarely cary cash! The food is not only amazing but they make it extremely quickly. This review is long past due. Chen's is a gem in the Hamptons that never disappoints. Chen's is a clean establishment with delicious options. Today is my first tme stopping by Chen's since last summer due to a very busy year. Between last year and today, I had the pleasure of being served by Amy. As always, she is pleasant, courteous, patient, accommodating and professional, over the phone as well as in person. I will continue to stop by when visiting the Hamptons.
