Classic dining. If you are in the mood for a classic sit down restaurant and a casual place this is a good choice. The portions are large at a decent price. Steak was cooked well and the service was good. There are specials few dishes and the menu is HUGE (I would say almost too many things as it took my date a long time to figure out what she wanted from the menu). The fried calamari was good and so was the Steak Diane. Salad and bread come with the meal. The dining room is a bit small so when they are busy things can get cluttered. Overall a good experience.

My experience left something to be desired to say the least. First of all it was my birthday and I went out with my family to celebrate The place wasn't busy and I still find it hard to believe people actually enjoy this restaurant ( I'm assuming they have very big local following) the salads were drenched in dressing, "crab cakes" were 1 crab cake on a tiny saucer with a soggy piece of iceberg under it for 10 dollars, ordered the stuffed flounder with crab meat and it was watery and tasteless (at least season your food) . What really bothered me is they forgot mto order my sons lasagna. I've been in the restaurant business fo17 years, I know when The restaurant makes a mistake. My son also ordered a side of fries which came out. The waitress handed him the fries and said here eat these for now. No apologies. Service was more like diner service ( take your order and bring your food, not personable at all) He waited over 20 minutes (I kept time) for his lasagna to come out. All while the rest of our party of 6 finished eating. I really wanted to say nevermind and go get him a burger on the way home that's how annoyed I was. I also thought they would do the right thing and take the meal off my bill for the inconvenience. I was wrong. At the end of the meal the waitress said ohh I took the fries off for you. Umm thanks? You took of 3 dollars from my bill instead of the 18 dollar meal that you forgot? To me that's just poor business practice. Needless to say it was very hard for me to enjoy my birthday when my son couldn't eat with me and the food was mediocre at best..We will not...

We have been there for several parties and had great service. Tonight we had dinner on the restaurant side. There were 8 of us at dinner. The waitress was attentive at first and when we asked for separate checks we were informed that an automatic 20% gratuity would be added to our checks. From there it went down hill fast. The waitress disappeared often. We got more service from the bust boy and hostess. We almost had to tackle our waitress to be able to get refills when we could find her. When it was time to get our checks we were handed a hand written piece of paper that was obviously torn from a larger piece of paper and were told they don't have a computer. The paper did not note what the random numbers were for. She had to explain what each number meant. It is embarrassing for a restaurant in business so long to have a waitress hand customers a hand written torn piece of paper with numbers. The service was not worth the 20% automatically added tip. I would have given 10% just on the off chance the bust boy and hostess would get a share. Food was mediocre at best. Some of the people in our party commented on her attitude and felt like she was doing us a favor instead of providing excellent customer service. We will definitely never come back to the restaurant. I would not recommend this restaurant. There are many other places with better customer...

WOW what an eye opener, great French & Continental cuisine, pleas read on! I am Phildo the foodie and have lived & dined in the Hudson Valley for more than 40 years. I passed this place up too many times and decided to give it a whirl. The food is super fresh. Homemade warm biscuits started our meal off complimented by a bowl of TO DIE FOR Vichyssoise soup. The soup rivaled those In Montreal & Quebec City. Perfect balance of flavors and the broth was light and filling. My main course, Seafood in a saffron lobster broth was perfect. Large diver scallops, PEI mussels, fresh clams and shrimp. Seafood was very fresh and delicious. The broth was velvety , smooth but bursting with flavor with hints of garlic, celery and tomato. My wife had the Seafood crepe. Diver scallops, shrimp, mushrooms and chives . The crepe was cooking perfectly and the creamy wine sauce was absolutely perfect. The portions are very filling what we would expect at a relaxed atmosphere establishment. The entree prices were not expensive and the 16 ounce Delmonico steak special was less expensive than a steak house and was a hit around the room. I can't wait to go back and sample some more of...
