Have been here on numerous occasions, service has always been a bit questionable but tonight it was awful. After waiting for 15 minutes we finally had to go to the bar and order our own drinks and ask them to send a server over. When the server finally came over to our table she had a terrible attitude. I ordered a taco which I've had before, they are usually decent. When my food arrived it was not made correctly, so I sent it back asking for what I actually ordered. After 45 minutes our server came back and asked if we needed anything, so I told her she never brought out my taco. She didn't apologize but said she would go put the order in and if it wasn't correct she would pay for it. After another 15 minutes she brought me my taco, which was made incorrectly again. They took it off the bill but no other compensation was given. So I left unhappy and hungry. We will not be back, I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs.    Read moreLet me tell you something straight: Turtle Joe’s doesn’t play around. I had 48 clams—yes, forty-eight—and every single one was like a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Perfectly cooked, buttery, briny bliss. I didn’t just eat them—I experienced them.
Now, I’m a Notre Dame football fan. I’ve cheered through the highs, the heartbreaks, and the Hail Marys. But let me be honest: these clams? They’re more consistent than our red zone offense and more explosive than a Jadarian Price kickoff return.
If Notre Dame’s O-line blocked as well as these clams were steamed, we’d be in the playoff every year. Heck, even Marcus Freeman would crack a smile and say, “This is the real gold standard.” You don’t rebuild a program without grit—and you don’t knock back 48 clams without greatness.
Turtle Joe’s might not have a Playoff Committee, but if they did? These clams are ranked #1, undefeated, and headed to the shellfish championship.
Final Score: Turtle Joe’s...

He came outside to sit and have waitress take our order. but waitresses seemed too busy to take our order. We sat there for at least another 10 minutes. We decided to go back into bar and try again. Again, stood at bar for yet another 5 minutes while 2 Bartenders were still too caught up with the same 3 people from the beginnig. One bartender seemed finished she looked down the bar and then turned her back to us to talk with another employee. We stood there for like another 2-3 minutes then left unhappy and unserved,. Do not plan to go there again. Too bad because atmosphere was our age range and did have live band that just finished when...
