Mamma's Cafe — Restaurant in Town of Fort Edward

It’s very rare that I leave a review for places. For context my husband and I came upstate today and wanted to grab something quick to eat. We drove passed this establishment and in an instant it caught my eye. The place has a welcoming environment. We ordered breakfast sandwiches to go. Specifically (2) Bacon, Egg and Cheeses with salt, pepper and ketchup on a hard roll.. I asked the waitress “can you please have them put the ketchup on the sandwich” she said no problem! We grab our food and hop back on the road to soon realize our breakfast sandwiches are on hamburger buns. There was no ketchup on the sandwiches and were soggy as ever from the condensation accumulated from the plastic containers they put them in. We bit the bullet and decided to still eat them. We had a very nice breakfast here on Sunday. I was impressed with the portions and everything we had tasted great. We had wished for more breakfast options but were happy with what we ordered. Service was attentive and friendly. The ambiance is pleasant and comfortable. There's a decent amount of seating at tables and counter. Once it warms up a bit, there are also tables outside on their nice front deck. We'll definitely be back for breakfast and also hope to give lunch a try. I got an Adirondack mountain man and an iced coffee, the coffee was really good, they even use ice cubes made out of coffee so it stays strong even if u dink slow, the eggs were cooked perfectly the bacon was delicious, the potatoes were just a little limp in flavor and texture and the pancakes had a very just add water swagger.
