Rookies Cookies and Creme — Restaurant in Town of Fort Edward

Ok the ice cream was great, I’ll give them that. Slightly overpriced but what is really upsetting for me is, here I am walking with a cane trying to finish my ice cream as I’m walking to my car. My stepson left his small plastic dish on the table because he was helping me carry my wallet and 2 phones back to the car, my stepson is 10 and I’m in my late 50’s. The owner runs out to the back parking lot asking us if we left our garbage on the picnic table… he must have seen my cane because all of a sudden he says oh I’m not trying to be a jerk but I thought you left your ice cream. We won’t be back. Thanks for ruining it for us. I made him pick up his garbage that he inadvertently forgot. He came at me with the worst attitude, but changed it fast when he saw my cane. Sorry we forgot a small plastic dish, how about one of the young people working there could get off their cans to pick it up?

To the response I was given, my boyfriend saw the man come out with an attitude asking hey, is that your garbage you left there? He was waiting in the car for me and was ready to get out and say something. The guy literally changed his tune when he saw my cane. I’m saying no more because that is how it happened. We decided to try something new and that’s what we got for a small plastic dish being left on a table. We’ll get our ice cream in south glens falls from now on. IMPORTANT* Female owner is extremely rude. When met with a suggestion, she inappropriately fires back in defense and claiming you are in some way, the issue instead of a simple "thank you for your feedback, we would be happy to consider your suggestion" FURTHERMORE she will find you information and place of work and show up to your job irate(several times). Police reports have been made as this show a serious lack in judgment and was taken as a serious threat. All over a suggestion and complaint. For safety for yourself and your family, I recommend that you avoid this shop, someone who doesn't take the emotion out of business and hunts you down is Out of control and obscene. The male owner and remaining employees have all always been very respectful and kind. They even have great products and a good price. The dish cups could be bigger to avoid melt over-especially for small children(the original suggestion/complaint), but until now we've never had a reason...

I drive for Uber on the side and multiple riders that I’ve had mentioned the ice cream sandwiches at this place. Since that is one of my favorite desserts, I decided to give it a shot and I was not disappointed!
