Stumpy's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Fort Edward

Found this place while visiting Slick Fin brewing and they became my new pizza place to go to. They have some real standout great foods such as the lasagna, chicken riggies, and their pizza itself. Chicken riggies are hard to get this far east in NY, so it's great to not only find them, but to find ones with such good flavor. The service is good, but the hours of operation seem to have moved a bit due to COVID changes, so keep an eye on the schedule. The website could do with some better updating, and the menu sometimes is inaccurate, so your best bet is to call to confirm prices and availability. Ordered food for pick up. We were told 45mins for a pick up time. Went to pick up the order at 45mins like told and the hot items were just going into the pizza oven. Sat in the restaurant for another 45mins well the hot items were prepared and made. Quality of food was good but the pick up times were way off. 45mins turned into 1hr 43mins for a pick up order. Questioned the time when handed the food and the employees response was" I'm sorry we are doing the best we can do." Employee also took a complaint on the phone and slammed the phone down when done with the phone call. Also the open sign was pulled 30mins prior to the establishment closing for the night. None of the employees were wearing a mask. No signage up saying masked were required like there is...

I'd leave 1 star but the food is decent. Called in, ordered 2 orders of tenders, fries and a pizza. Delivered w/1 order of tenders not there. Called in and they say it was only written down w/1 order and I wasnt charged for the other. BUT it was repeated back to me correct with 2 orders. They feel like a "miscommunication isnt worth them having to comp 1 order of tenders". If it were me, I'd comp the tenders and throw in drinks for screwing it up. And then they ask they can deliver an order but will charge me for them. No thanks. If the business is so good, comp things the business screws up, not have the customer pay.
