Wet Bottoms Bar & BBQ — Restaurant in Town of Fulton

I don’t like leaving bad reviews especially when the food was delicious and everything else was great. I believe it was possibly the owner or manager who came and talked to us because they were out of a certain meal we ordered, he was very polite just as an owner/manager should be, we certainly appreciate him coming to speak with us to get things fixed and apologize about it directly. But unfortunately our waitress tonight ended up making the rest of our time kinda suck. Don’t get me wrong she was great at first and I do understand that it’s a Saturday night and can get busy. But when we’re waiting over 30 minutes for our check that’s absolutely ridiculous, we should not feel trapped because she can’t take two seconds to check us out so we can leave. Especially while we watched her lollygag with either a coworker or friend? (i’m not sure) & take orders from two other tables who came in after we asked for our check and even helped the table right next to us check out/cleaned their table off after they left (again after we had already asked for our check). This is your typical Wisconsin dive bar, except without the friendly service. We went at 1:30 on a Saturday and there were maybe 20 other people in the restaurant. 4 tables needed service from previous patrons, and there was only 1 clean table so we sat there. After a 15 minute wait we still hadn't received service, so we went to the bar to get drinks and a menu to order food. We asked if there was severe for the restaurant and the response was yes, we saw you. Despite the cold reception we ordered food. I had the deluxe pulled pork which was on, but seemed like it came from a package as the meat was kind of dry. My friend had the grilled chicken sandwich, which was also a tad dry. If we had received, prompt, friendly service and the attention one expects from an establishment like this I would have rated it with 3 stars. I can't find myself bringing guests from out...

We chose to dine outside. We sat for 45 minutes before being acknowledged when we stopped a waitress to ask if we could please see a menu. Our 2 fish dinners arrived at our table 32 minutes after we placed our order. No silverware, seems they were out of knives, but we did get a fork eventually. Total time spent 2 1/2 hours. Food was nothing out of the ordinary, but okay. By the time our food came, the mosquitos were out in full force. When the waitress finally came around to take orders, I brought it to her attention that the table next to us had been there before us and had in fact went inside twice to see if they could get some service. Her reply was I'll get them next, do you know what you want? We will never return or recommend this establishment to anyone. This same service was noticed at every table...
