Not a fan. The parking is an accident waiting to happen. The drinks are limited to their product and overpriced. The food is OK and overpriced. My recent visit, a guy looking like Ted knight from WKRP was roaming in with his oversized dog through a hot, crowded room to stop right where I was sitting. The dog smelled horrendous and was drooling all over the place. Clearly needing a drink and a bath. The owner of the dog could care less. He is a regular to the venue from what I gathered and I’m surprised his ego fit through the door. I politely asked if he could take the dog outside and got a negative response. I tried talking to a staff member and the response was “we are pet friendly all over here” I have no problem with pets when they are groomed and well cared for. A crowded hot room is not a good setting for a dog you care about. If you’re starved for attention, don’t take it out on a pet. Any place you’re serving food and drinks should be pet free for sanitary reasons. I will not be back to the horse barn to be mistreated or snubbed by a clique. I do not recommend this place for food, drink or atmosphere. As for Ted Knight, find some other way to stroke your ego and get the dog a bath, drink and a sitter when you go out.

Cozy, relaxed atmosphere with a nice patio for outdoor seating. Small but good selection of local beer and hard cider. We got the Secret Cider which was Bad Seed hard cider with a splash of Wright’s Farm sweet apple cider. Very refreshing on a hot summer day. Approx $4.20 for a half pour and $7.50 for a pint, so decently priced. We definitely want to come back to try the other brews on tap! My only wish would be for the flight to be a little cheaper - its like $12 but very small drink portions.

The perfect place to visit after hiking or climbing the Gunks. They did an amazing job converting an old farm into a restaurant and bar. Lots of unique decorations though out the place and plenty of space to sit indoors and out. I came on a beautiful sunny day after picking Gertrude’s nose and sat out doors with my dog. Good food, local beers, live music and dog friendly. Just perfect.

We went on Saturday on Labor Day Weekend. The staff was extremely friendly and personable and the food was good. Not exceptional, but good given pub style fare. My one, minor complaint, is they require you to get in a single file line at the bar to order both food and drinks. They appeared to have enough staff to accommodate normal table service, so it didn’t make a lot of sense. Regardless, it was a positive experience and we...
