Stopped there for my first time today and got 2 subs and some spicy Italian sausage for dinner tomorrow. First thing I would like to say that its a very cool store! A lot of specialty groceries sold there from local businesses, excellent meats and deli. Wasn't very impressed with the subs though. They take your order and then bring your subs to the cashier when they're finished. I ordered 1 ham and swiss and 1 Italian assorted. The prices were very reasonable. When I got home i saw they made a turkey and swiss instead of ham which was very disappointing. The ratio of bread/meat/cheese was way off. The meat alone was about 2 inches thick but there was the thinnest, tiniest slice of cheese in the middle lol. If that's how you like your sub, this will be the perfect place for you but I was greatly disappointed. I might not be back for subs but I'll definitely stop there for fresh meats and other items. *picture shows the Turkey with "extra" cheese

Growing up in an Italian household means I have high expectations when it comes to my subs and cannolis. I can say hands-down this is the absolute best place to go. Not only is a service top-notch and everyone’s very outgoing. But the food is it so damn delicious. As a construction worker on the west side of Rochester I feel extremely lucky to have this right by my shop. They have a nice dining area as well too if you want to sit down and eat. Are usually take everything to go though as I’m always working I don’t have time to sit down too often for lunch.

Will be back. I got an Italian Assorted. Delicious! I can't wait to try other sandwiches. House: clean and unpretentious. Very strong sense of community in the dining area. Service: friendly. The place was nonstop and the staff was moving along without being rude or impatient. Food: I got the small and should have considered the mini. The sandwich was bigger than I thought. Fresh and delicious! Price: competitive pricing. They are a little cheaper than some chain places that offer worse food.

You always know there is great food being served, when the line for the lunch hour crowd is out the door. The food definitely did not disappoint. So many delicious items to choose from, it's always a hard choice. The colon kicker is one of their signature sandwiches. Shaved steak with grilled capicola. Bread is baked fresh, and sometimes they will run out. Do yourself a favor and go there often, but get there early. They tell everyone that you got your colon kicked.
