A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Greenport

I don't know how there's so many positive reviews about the A&W fast food restaurant located in Hudson New York. I am currently at that establishment and by the looks of things all the windows are dirty I pulled up to the drive-thru menu there is no light to see the items available I've been pulled up to order here speaker and sat there for about 8 minutes before I decided to proceed to the next window when a young man came to the window and I asked him did you not know I was at the speaker he says oh I'm sorry but I was in the middle of a conversation so you don't even stop for a second and say please hold someone will be with you to take your order I find that sadly disturbing when you look through the window you see the area that is dirty and not clean I asked if he knew if this was corporate or franchise he knew nothing about the restaurant I asked where the manager was and he stated the managers usually next door as I proceeded to make an order give him my money he takes the money with gloves on as he's handling other people's money with gloves on and I watch him prepare my food with dirty soiled gloves overall I give it a thumbs down customer service was poor as well as the...

I live in MA my dads in hospital in Poughkeepsie NY . We don't have a A&W I got some cheese curds one time for my boyfriend he was hooked. So Sunday we rushed to Hudson on way home after hospital we got to A&W about 8:30 ( they close at 9) . There was a young man cleaning who told us twice that they would be right with us he was very nice . The girls behind counter was awesome. Very sweet and polite. We placed a large order she did not seemed annoyed at us for the large order or how late it was. We ordered chicken tenders to take home for following day. She said it would be 5 minutes. Why were we waiting I heard her tell other girl to make fresh fries she didnt like how they looked . We got our bags and went to car to eat since it was so late. As I was checking my stuff I realized I was missing a burger . As I was getting out the pleasant young women was knocking on my window with a apology and my burger . We were very impressed especially since time we were there last we were not impressed with the service Tenders are so yummy . Cheese curds and sauce are awesome . Their burgers are also good. Worst food ever. So when we go they NEVER get our food correct and for some reason i still go thinking "this time will be different" well got there this time and waited in line for about 7 mins then the lady at the counter watched a guy walk in and cut in front of me and helped him first anyways. So I waited again when it was finally my turn the first thing I asked for was a root beer float (you know the stuff the store is named for) machine is broken okay. So I order my food and get home (2 mins away I live on 66) and ALL of the food is cold I mean cold and the sauce on the papa burger was on the bun itself not the burger patty so the bun was WET. And the bread was stale on the dry parts. The got dog was like a piece of leather. I hate writing bad reviews I always like cutting places breaks but this is too many bad experiences too many times. I'm driving my but to dairy queen from now on....
