I will not step foot in that shop again! I’m sorry but eating out is not cheap and I take issues with some things. The gentleman making the subs appeared to be high and I witnessed him make someone’s sub and cash them out while wearing his gloves. The gloves appeared to be on while and the register didn’t look to be the cleanest either, so I asked if he would please do a glove change. Now this request is not unheard heard of. And he looked at me like I was calling him names, he asked me what I said and when I asked him again he fought with me. I was flabbergasted… it’s like he never heard of such a thing. Then he said NO! And then the woman he was working with said she will make the subs… I’m sorry he doesn’t know my health issues or concerns and at 10$ a sub…. And it’s not like he’s paying for the gloves. And then as the woman preceded to make my subs he still kept it going, with his remarks and I even told him that he was touching the register and I didn’t want to get sick. In the past when I visited this location there was never a situation where I had to ask for a glove change… but this dudes gloves were turning yellowish which means then been on longer than they should be. But to bicker with me after when the other person was making them was beyond…. Then when we had enough of his bickering we left… there’s more options to eat in Albany I just thought that was easy and I have yet to be disappointed until now… As we were walking out he thought it was best to YELL at us with other people in the shop! Read moreI ordered 2 subs online that cost $33 and it was made wrong and late. I was told it'd be ready at 5:34pm (I'm working) so I get there at the Western Ave location 40 minutes later- it's not ready and made wrong. So I told them I'd be back because I didn't have time to wait. I come back an hour later (due to the nature of my job) and it's still wrong. Plus the workers were rude, insulting, disrespectful and had no customer service skills. Blamed me for coming 40 mins late, blamed my job, told me I ordered my sub wrong and argued with me calling me 'bro'...??? How do you mess up making a sub? Could it be the big tv distraction (football game on) and rushing through my order or illiteracy. Got a refund (wouldn't give me cash-so now have to wait for that) and WILL NEVER visit that location again. And tried calling but noone ever answered the phone. Read moreI love Jersey Mike’s but this location had only two slow workers today. We stood in line for about 15 minutes as they finished some online orders and two other customer’s orders that had been standing there before we walked in. When it was finally time to take more orders from those of us in line, the woman rubbed her eyes, stretched her arms out, then proceeded to lay her arms down on the counter where subs begin their journey down the counter, with her order pad in hand and said something to the effect of “go ahead.” Right before taking our order, someone came in to pick up their online order. The staff (of two people) proceeded to pull a bunch of tickets with orders off the back counter looking for his ticket.
