Tom and Mary Casey Stadium is home of the UAlbany Great Danes football team. The stadium is relatively new having been opened in 2013. Views from all seats are excellent as you’re never too far away from the action. Tickets can be purchased online and are also sold at the stadium. The electronics board located in the south end zone is used throughout the game and has excellent video and sound. The stadium can fit as many as 8,500, but rarely do this many show up. Most of the seats in the stadium are metal bleachers. There are some chairback seats which are close to the sideline and cost a little bit more. The atmosphere is very laid back and most fans are into the game. Concessions are fairly priced by stadium standards and all food and merchandise stands are cashless. For those interested, there is a beer garden located in the stadium. Nico’s cafe also has a stand at the stadium. Parking is located near the stadium on campus and you will have to pay to park. There is a small tailgate scene before the games. From the parking to the stadium is a five to ten minute walk. Albany plays in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) so you will watch them play against other similar size colleges. Albany delivers a great game for a reasonable price. There is a nice college football experience to be had by all...
