Ordered general Tao chicken, hot and spicy style. Received chicken in some sort of super sweet peanut flavored soupy sauce. Tasted nothing like general Tao and hot no heat level at all. The food didn’t taste bad but it wasn’t even close to what I ordered and it took twice the amount of time as any Chinese place I’ve ever been.

The worst beef lo mein I’ve ever had. Strange taste of the lo mein. I’m so hungry but I can’t eat it anymore.

Our first time eating there and our last. We ordered the common food like sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice, boneless spare ribs, fried wontons, cheese wontons and house lo mein. The owners were very polite but the food appeared to have been stored for a long period of time then reheated upon ordering. It was either very dry (spare ribs) and difficult to chew and swallow. The lo mein tasted as if it had been sitting in room temperature for a while prior to cooking. Both the cheese and fried wontons lacked flavor and seemed to be old. The sweet and sour chicken appeared to be old but the rice seemed ok and fresh. Fortune cookies and canned soda were delicious. You don't know until you try....

I am absolutely all about this Chinese place. In Hancock we have very few places to eat, and most of them offer pretty much the same things, except Chinese. The ONLY reason I didn’t give these guys a 5 ⭐️ review is because of a couple minor things. 1) since the pandemic, they’re extremely difficult to get ahold of, especially on Friday’s. And 2) I noticed if it’s pretty late, say 730-800pm and I order my usual, it’s not quite as fresh as it is if I ordered at 2pm. The food is ALWAYS hot, and 9x out of 10, it tastes great! I love that it is privately owned and the owners are so so very pleasant! Thank you for opening your doors to the public again. You were sorely missed in the beginning of the...

I have gotten food from here several times. Never a issue. I grew up in NYC area and moved here many years ago. I was happy to see a local Chinese food joint in the area. I travel the country and know about different styles and quantities of Chinese and Asian foods. For the price you can’t go wrong here. I have had pork egg rolls, spring rolls, cheese wontons, regular wontons, steamed dumplings, chicken on a stick, egg drop soup, wonton soup, chicken chow Mein, chicken lomein , general tso’s chicken and their seafood delight. I was never disappointed by the quality. This place is worth the stop , if your a local or just passing by for school you won’t be...
