My wife and I had the alambre platter with a guacamole side. A due to some communication issues, we received a very large portion of a standalone guacamole dish instead of guacamole on the side. That said clearly it was the best part of the meal. The Alambre platter was served as if it were fajitas, but there was very little flavor to it. The refried beans were okay and the lettuce and tomato on the plate were fine but the main course just didn't measure up. In fact it was the worst fajita, if that's what it was supposed to be, that I can remember having. The service was good. Rosa treated us very well, and in fact at the end of our meal treated us to a small dessert. That was very nice of her. The inside of the restaurant was what you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. I was pleased that they weren't playing rock and roll on the intercom but rather Spanish or Mexican music. That added to the ambience of the place. The restroom did not have any paper towels, so I had to use toilet paper to dry my hands. In addition, the toilet seat was sitting on the floor by the toilet, meaning that should someone need to actually sit down they would have to pick up the toilet seat and put it on the toilet itself. Not a good situation. All in all, I wish we had gone to the Italian place that we talked about going to instead.

We love it here! Such a quaint interior and warm welcoming service. They brought warm tortilla chips with salsa as soon as we sat down and we started with their fresh guacamole. Delicious and a generous portion. Perfect for two to share. We both had combo platters. Mine was taco, burrito and chimichanga. Standard is all beef but I switched the burrito to chicken. My wife had taco, enchilada and tamale. We were impressed by all the flavors, with the tamales being the Star. One of the best I’ve had. None of the food was heavily spiced, so I added a little hot sauce. Next time all ask the kitchen to spice it for me. All the dishes were excellent, and service was prompt and efficient. They even brought a small sweet chimichanga for dessert. All in dinner with one soda was $48. Loved it. We are so happy to see a nice place in Hancock and we will be returning through the summer.

With peace and love, this food is incredibly overpriced and tasted like it was microwaved. Jumbo burrito is not jumbo and definitely not worth 13$.As a local was really hoping to support local business but i think i could’ve made better mexican food at home. Way too expensive and the rice seemed like a frozen mix.

Really grateful to have this terrific Mexican restaurant in our little town, the food is really fresh and delicious! The menu is large and authentic. The only thing I would mention is the food is very lightly seasoned, but there are enough condiments to adjust to your taste. If you love Mexican food but do not like strong spiciness, this is definitely the place for you! Will be returning again, absolutely...
