It was refreshing to find this burger joint where fast food chains seem.to be everywhere. Overall I had a pleasant experience at TFS. Although there are a few Cons I hope TFS will look into. I order the TFS burger, it's about $8. For an $8 burger I was expecting a hefty burger with at least a 1/4 lb of beef if not 1/2 lb. It wasn't. I was shocked how small a burger it was. It was the size of a kid's burger, I kid you not. It was gone in two bites! It was delicious, but just too small. Frankly I was disappointed. For $8 you expect a burger that sustains you, tfs burger does not. Typically burgers come with sliced tomatoe onion pickles and lettuce. None of it on their burger, so the burger isn't only small in diameter, it also light in content. The fries was ok, it was not impressive. Very thinly cut and a bit too soft and greasy for my taste. I personally prefer thicker cut, crispy fries. I also tried sweet potatoe fries, which was much better, because it is cut thicker and it was crisp. Beer, I was happy to see they have beer, but boy what a selection. All the beers were either IPAs or Stouts, very aromatic beers. I understand they like to be cool and have "craft" beer, but I had a hard time liking any of the beers, we tried a few. Maybe tfs folks dont know, but burgers go really well with a crisp lager. And it's just good practice to have one familiar beer on tap. None here. Ok, as I said my overall experience was pleasant. The staff were friendly and very helpful. And their theme of a car garage is certainly cool and unique, I enjoyed it.

This is the spot. The Filling Station (a converted gas station) has some of the best fries you’ll ever have — great flavor, always perfectly cooked and crispy, lots of dipping sauce options, big portions. I love their grilled chicken sandwich (the Fowl Play) but the burgers and other sandwiches are all really solid, including one that features fried chicken inside grilled cheese. Excellent onion rings, sweet potato fries and chicken bites. Everything is cooked fresh to order and the location maintains the look of its former life as a gas station and service center. They also have locally-made ice cream and beers from the Hudson Valley. In contrast to the other location, there’s indoor and outdoor seating here and a huge parking lot. Try the truffle dipping sauce with the fries

I can't believe I have never been here before. I guess cause it looks like an old gas station, I must have driven right passed it. Today I stopped for lunch because it was the first thing that came up on my GPS (that's how I roll sometimes). I have to say, it was one of the best burgers I have ever had in my life ... and I'm 58 years old and I've eaten MANY burgers in MANY places. It was soooo good. My pic does not do it justice. I should have taken another angle! It had cheese, mushrooms, onions and bacon. It was perfect. The fries were delicious too. (I had them put cheese on my fries). Service was very friendly too and the interior is cool and inviting. I will DEFINITELY be going back.

If you're in the mood for a delicious hamburger or hotdog, this is the place to go. The burger was incredibly juicy and filling, bursting with flavors that will leave you craving more. The hotdog was equally impressive, offering a perfect blend of smoky and savory notes. I also tried the fried pickles, which were delightfully crispy with just the right amount of breading. However, the onion rings were a bit of a letdown—just okay, not great. Pricing is a bit on the high side. For everything I got - a burger with cheese and bacon, plain hot dog, onion rings, and fried pickles, it ended up costing a little over $35, which feels a tad steep.

The Filling Station is a unique restaurant located in a former Automobile service shop. The old roll up bay doors are still used to allow easy access in and out for outdoor dining. Indoor dining is available as well. The menu offers choices of burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, fries, hand dipped ice cream among other 'burger joint' type menu offerings. I have dined here on several previous occasions and had the grilled chicken sandwiches with fries on a recent visit and it was good. Service was friendly and prompt. I will return again in the future.

BEST burger I've had in a long time. Even the bread with the sesame coating was GREAT! My daughter & I both had the TFS. W/ fries; Regular & Sweet Potato. What surprised me the most was their ICE CREAM!! OMG, Extremely creamy! My daughter had chocolate & I just had to try the Almond Joy (coconut ice cream with almonds & chocolate pieces) Good thing we did a long hike before coming here! Great staff too! Friendly & attentive. Clean establishment. VERY Cool place. Definitely coming back!
