This place I would of given a 5 star but how ppl treat u is worth a star itself.. we came here for breakfast the lady said we could sit anywheres they have a lil sis room which is just on the other side from the dining counter which isn’t far considering the place is small.. the lady who was the dishwasher was fantastic she brought us our drinks I said we are ready to order she said I can’t do that I am just the dishwasher (but believe me she’s more then that she was a positive lite in the place) the younger man came and he was not hi folks how r u what can I get u nothing just to the point so I said sorry to bother you he kinda changed his tune.. my husband said he was intrigued by the meatloaf breakfast and he was very to the point and my husband said it sounds different tried to make small talk he didn’t want to hear it.. I said he don’t want to hear your thoughts on it right in front of him then he probably figured I wasn’t taking his crappy attitude his tip which I usually leave a generous one was only $4 for a 30$ meal normally I would of left 10 or more.. the food was good I had a omelette with toast and home fries very good and my husband enjoyed the meatloaf breakfast he couldn’t even eat his toast..which for him is amazing..bathrooms were clean the place...
Read moreWant to give more stars…when we arrived it was packed and we had to wait an about 10-15 minutes for a table. Took about five minutes for someone to welcome and acknowledge us though they saw us walk in and could have done so sooner.
Finally ordered, which took a while. Waited and waited and waited for food. There were three people working in the kitchen and by the time we ordered it was pretty empty. Unclear why it took so long. We were there an hour before we actually ate. Definitely not the speed of a typical diner.
The food was very good. Picture perfect. The taste of the pancakes reminded me of McDonald’s pancakes. Have had better. A fly joined us once our food arrived which was annoying.
The servers/owner (?) were not unkind but also nothing to rave about here. They all seemed tired. Water for tea was not hot enough. No one checked in on us after we got our food. Had to go to counter to get further service and check. If go, allow...
Read moreToni's had that cozy/homey vibe that a lot of other family diners can't seem to hit with balance. My wife and I went in on this past Saturday morning. The food was really good, like REALLY GOOD. It was homemade and cooked perfectly how we requested. Now, it takes time to get food out with a diner that was this hopping, and we understood that going in, bit they really only took about 10 minutes to get our order to us. In a packed diner. So the speed of service was really good. The food, even the homemade hot sauce, was really good, and the whole vibe was so chill and happy. Toni is a wonderful owner and a lovely person! She's right there working alongside everyone else, and definitely adds that 'Mom' feel to that MomAndPop business. Seriously, stop by if you're hungry and in the area. The French toast was so good with that...
