Roosevelt Pool — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

It was good and not too much. The only thing is that if you want to wear a shirt in the pool it has to be a white T-shirt. Not even a white long sleeves but a white T-shirt. I am not sure why this is even a rule. However one of the people that worked there helped me out and let us in since I don’t own a white tee and didn’t have the money to just go buy one. We went on a day that there was going to be a free concert across the street, it looked like a parking lot maybe? There was a lot of street parking and the only complaint there was that someone parked where they weren’t supposed to and had me blocked in until someone very nice came along and helped me inch back and forth until I was able to get out. I personally would've given 2 stars but because the staff is friendly and courteous I'm giving them 3 stars.. The pool water was not clean. For as many people that were in the pool they should've made sure there was enough chlorine in the pool. I'm very big on being clean. I left that day very itchy and was praying to God that my children and myself didn't catch anything. But we had fun. That was the only time I had that experience. Great place { I do recommend you to come early }you don't have to worry about your kids getting sick in water .The kiddie pool had a great temperature to the point where grown adult were in the kiddie pool.
