Simply Spinelli Cafe — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Cute cafe, and the coffee is really good! I love the aesthetic, but the prices are definitely on the higher side.

Unfortunately, the service during my last visit was really disappointing. I placed an online order and went to pick up. The cafe wasn’t busy, but no one acknowledged me while I waited at the pickup counter. After standing there for a while, I noticed my order slip hanging, it had been about 25 minutes since I placed it. I overheard one employee ask another if she had started my order, and she replied that she had not started anything. I spoke up to say that was my order, and I was just stared at with no explanation or apology for the delay. So I asked if they needed a few more minutes, and one girl just said yes. It was just odd to be ignored.

In the end, it took around 40 minutes to get two coffees, a muffin and avocado toast (that cost over $50). I really wanted to like this place. Hopefully, they can work on their service, because they do...

Their coffee is hands down the best in town! Not bitter or burnt, they really pay attention to how it SHOULD be made. Cold brew is balanced, and delicious! Not too bitter, smooth, and hits the spot. Excellent service! Really warm and welcoming. Unique edibles, are as good as they look. Extremely clean place, with fun decor expected of a light hearted cafe. Golden milk is lightly sweetened and ginger forward. Decent recipe. I can tell this place will be a local favorite. Really looking forward to the Golden milk during the colder months. I recently visited Simply Spinelli Cafe and had an amazing experience! The staff is incredibly professional and knowledgeable about their menu items. I loved that they took the time to explain the benefits of the ingredients used in their dishes/drinks. From my understanding most if not all ingredients are organic.

The vibe in the cafe is so nice and comforting—perfect for a relaxed meal or a cozy coffee break. The atmosphere really enhances the overall experience.
