Bagel & Bakery Express — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I used to come here in the beginning a lot during the start of 2024. The male that worked here was superb. He always made my order perfect. Since I do not see him anymore, the women there have been messing up my bagel really bad. I come here rushing because I travel to Brooklyn to work. The last few times they take my order, making me wait for almost 10 mins while taking online orders. In that time, they have burned my bagel so bad that all I taste is burned crunch. And it gets all over my car because I take it to go before a busy day at work. This has been ongoing the last few times. I paid $6 for burnt bagels each time? Definitely not happening again. I kept giving them chance after chance, but I'm very disappointed. The picture I uploaded is not the first time they gave me a bagel like this. Again, very good in the beginning with the male working there. But the females do not put their all in the work. Oh and the other day I got a bagel with lox and cream cheese. I paid $15! I'm sorry but that much for a bagel with salmon and cream cheese? This isn't Manhattan with those prices. I'm done...

I absolutely love this place! I've only been here 2 times but I've never left anywhere with such a big smile on my face as I did when I left here. Their danishes have a lovely center and they're perfectly flakey! Nor are they stingy on the cream cheese for a bagel. The prices are perfect but my favorite part about this place is (at least when I've entered) that there is music playing in the store. I am a person with sensory issues and so when a place gets busy, you have music playing and then combine that with all the noise from the kitchen, it can be very overwhelming for me. However the lack of music makes this place so much more accessible to people like me! This place is perfect, its clean and it perfect place to go when you're looking for a good...

I'm a former L&E bagel customer. Still looking for a place. Will give this place another go.

BEC was top notch. Bagels by the dozen prices differ from weekday to weekend but you get 6 Xtra bagels on the weekend. And the best part from other bagel stores in the area...... there is plenty of parking!!! Prices on the cheaper end from area place by a few bucks and bagel quality rivaled them. I'd give them a shot...
