They finally reopened! Now under the name Vinny's Pizzeria and Ristorante. Same owners as before, they closed for about 6 months to renovate their location and revamp/update their menu. Same flavors but slightly different menu options. Still have plant based and regular options. Additional charge if you pay with credit card and the menu lists the difference between cash and card prices for each item. They still have indoor and outdoor eating areas.
Went around 730 pm, on a Friday. There was one customer ahead of us, and after they were done ordering, a call came in for an order, which took about 5 minutes to complete before we were acknowledged. Vinny's mom was manning the register and phone, she is such a gem and sweet woman. Only plant based pizza left was plain and Margherita, but she went and spoke with the staff and secured Mac and cheese and white slices for us! We also got garlic knots, regular jack daniels slices and 10 piece order of cauliflower wings, mild. All together came to just under $44.
Vinny's mom shared they did the renovations all on their own and proudly showed off their work. Definitely a great small business to support. They got busy but all customers were patient and understanding about waiting to place orders. Would have liked to see more pizza options, both plant based and traditional.
Flavors are still on point and will definitely be returning regularly as I did prior to their renovations. Happy to have Vinny's...

Vinny (the owner) takes pride in everything that leaves his kitchen. I was surprised to see 98% of the menu is made to order, FRESH! Including everything on the counter. One of the slices that I have noticed flys off the counter faster then it was placed there is the Upside down (Vegan or Regular). This slice will blow any slice you've ever had similar to it out of the water, that's something I stand by. Some of the pizzas sold here, you will not find anywhere on the island, let alone the state or country. Every slice is packed with BIG flavor and daring combinations that will satisfy anyone's stomach and taste buds.
Moving on to the vegan options.. To start, there's a sizable amount of options. Pretty much anything they have in a regular option, they have in a vegan option, which seems to satisfy couples who are and are not vegan. Don't be fooled by the "plant based" title on the menu / pizza because just like their regular options, the vegan options are jam packed with flavor as well, not to mention also made fresh. The daily garlic knot slices are packed with your favorite comfort foods on a pizza. The upside down tastes no different than the regular and the vegan Mac and cheese seems to be everyone's favorite.

Read moreTHE BEST! Vinny's is a GEM! GO NOW!! You know how hard it is for a vegan to eat Italian food (because most items have cheese)?! Well, not at Vinny's. Vinny's caters to everyone! Even vegans can indulge. Vinny's is serving delicious food for every type of eater - LOVE this! Last night my friends and I ordered and stayed to eat, and we couldn't have been happier and more delighted with EVERYTHING. The service was incredible. All the staff, so accommodating, helpful, kind, courteous - going above and beyond expectations! and the Food! GLORIOUS! The plant based rice balls are outta this world. I haven't had a rice ball in ten years! Soooo good. I had a Greek salad, beans and escarole soup; my husband had seitan parmigiana, and our friends tried a lot of different things. They had vegan specialty slices of pizza and seitan francese. The food was so delicious. As we were eating, we were already planning what to order for our next meal. The server was great too; he even brought us vegan garlic knots to start, and Vinny's tomato sauce is fantastic. I could drink it - that's how good it is. Anyway, we all have left overs today to re-live the incredible meal. Thank you Vinny's for your dedication and providing impeccable service and goods....
