I used to love this place! Recommended to many people. However, the last FEW times I ordered (Jan 2020 to Jan 2021) my burgers had basically no sauce on it, the meat was dry and grainy. Since they switched to thicker buns it made it exceptionally harder to eat and I could not finish my meal. Their burgers USED to be nice and juicy with enough sauce. To the point where the switch to thicker buns was a good idea since the previous ones would break through. The chicken wings were dry and tough. The only thing that was good in the meal were the onion rings which unfortunately came cold even though I am a 5 minute drive away. Completely disappointed especially because the owner and staff were nice. Yea It’s that bad now. To make matters worse they raised the prices of some menu items. I preferred to give my money to a local business than a chain during these times, I myself was laid off during Covid but I can’t order from here if this is the quality they are...

Read moreI’ve been very hesitant to go out and eat lately because of the virus but The Texas Ranger is the perfect place to go to. My family has been going to The Texas Ranger for over 30 years and loves it. The staff is extremely nice, the food is delicious (especially the Special Burger and the Philly Cheesesteak), the onion rings and fries were made perfectly, and the owner Sam was lovely. He came up to our table and made sure everything was alright and checked up on us. He personally made sure that all frequently touched areas such as the counter, tables, bathroom area, and doors/door handles were always cleaned and sanitized several times which was very assuring at this point in the virus’s spreading. In addition to great food, there is great service, sanitation, and history. We will be back here...
