I live close to West Point and when we go to have pizza we drive by 4 other pizzerias and 2 or 3 extra miles to get here. It's the best place to get a very good pizza. They make their own sauce and use top shelf ingredients in their pizza. The crust is tasty!! Not like the cardbord stuff you usually get. Try the white pie with tomato and ham!! As good as any thing in Westchester. It truely reminds me of the good pizza we use to get in the 70's and 80's.
Update - The pizza is still good but holy cow is it expensive!! I had a white pie with a tossed salad for 2 people. Salad had romain, shreded carrots, canned sliced black olives and a couple of pieces of tomato. Over $50 bucks!!! Haven't been back and won't go back with those prices! Cheaper to drive over the mountain to get much better deals!
Last update, 4/5/24, because I’m never going back. We had a pepperoni pizza, soup, salad and calamari. The pizza in a word … Sucked. Last time I go here. I’ve now had the worst white pie ever and now the worst pepperoni. Had it been cooked and delivered in a timely manner maybe it could have been better. Like the white pie we had this pie was totally over cooked. Delivered cold and hard as their pizza pan. It was so over cooked there wasn’t a drop of greasy fluid from the pepperoni. Cheese was cooked to a solid crunch. Warming it up made it even harder. Go else where if you like a good cheesy pie. This place hasn’t a clue how to cook a pie!! The white pie was even worse. That was 2 years ago. We decided to give this dive a 2nd chance. Wrong move. A frozen pie would have been soooo much better. Never again. This place was so much better when the old guy was there. He ran a very...
Read moreWalk in, the entry way is crowded with tables, flies buzzing. Tried to order, no one acknowledged or welcomed my family in. They had an iPad to order on, but a woman walked back behind the counter, also didnt acknowledged us. I asked her if I should order on the iPad or with her, she said give me a minute and order with me. Got a draft beer, it came out with the top 3 inches empty. Normally I wouldve let it slide, but i was charged 11 dollars for this draft. I took it back to the front and the woman apologized and topped it off. Had to fill cups at a water jug myself for the kids. Food came out one pizza at a time. One pizza out, waiting with three hungry kids for the spaghetti, garlic knots, and second pizza. Fifteen minutes go by, no more food. I go up and ask about the food, they acted like they had no idea about it. I reminded them of my order. Another 15 minutes, spaghetti comes. Ten more minutes, garlic knots come. I told them to package the last pizza to go because the kids were out of patience. The waitress never apologized for the long wait or for forgetting the food. The quality and flavor of the food was in my opinion bad, certainly not worth tolerating horrible service. Paper plates, no silverware or salt/parm/pepper on the tables. Minimal effort put into the food and atmosphere and it felt like they intentionally tried to make patrons...
Read moreSo disappointed with my experience this evening . First of all , I consider myself a regular of this establishment. It’s very close to where I temporarily reside , so once a week is the norm for me.
Here’s my story: I phoned in my order for 2 cheese slices and BBQ wings. I was told it would be 15-20 mins before It would ready for pick up . I believe I showed up at the 20 min mark.
Upon arriving , my two slices were ready but I was told it would be another 15 mins because they had just changed the oil. Being the patience person that I am, I said I would sit down to eat my 2 slices while I waited for the wings. The pizza slices was dry and stiff , cheese wasn’t cheesy and I barely finished the one slice.
I took my other pizza slice for an exchange but the lady told me they wouldn’t take the one they have given me. I told the lady that works there that I would purchase a fresh one. I honestly guessed she would have gave it to me free of Charge because of the wait and complain of the dry pizza I first tried to eat .
After 15 mins , my wings were ready and I went to pay, to my surprise I was charged for that extra slice. It was only $3.33 but customer service was negative 100.
I not only paid for my meal , I left a $4 tip. This was my friendly way of being a good paying/tipping customer. however I also left my future business there tonight.
So...
