So I need this to make sense to me.
A BACON EGG AND CHEESE on a roll cost 4.50/5.00. Filled with bacon 2 eggs and cheese.
A BACON LETTUCE AND TOMATOE on a roll COST 10.00. Literally double the price. It Had ONE slice of bacon, One piece of lettuce and 2 slices of tomatoes.
How on earth does this make any sense? First of all, to charge 6.00 for a BLT alone is considered overpriced, let alone 10.00?!? I ordered that, French fries and an drink that came out to 18.00!?!? I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT!
Due to inflation, The cost of bacon, eggs and cheese far outweigh the cost of lettuce and tomatoes. So how is it DOUBLE the price for The BLT? Who on earth is coming up with these prices? Shouldn’t it cost more for a sandwich FILLED with cold cuts, or with eggs than it does for bread and lettuce? Does the BLT have organic uncured specialty bacon? I really am trying to understand it. I have never in my life (not even on the upper east side of Manhattan) paid that much for a BLT that wasn’t even meaty. Had one slice. When asked how much the total was , there was an arrogance on the younger cashier and she acted as if she ruled the store. It’s sad because the other lady cooking was seemingly friendly , and so was the man in the deli. But to charge 10.00 for a BLT and 3.00 for a bottle of juice and 4.00 for a side… is insane. Someone should review and reevaluate how exactly the pricing is established because it seems as if a kid did it.
Other than the BLT, the fries were good and the bacon egg and cheese was affordable and good as well. The deli sandwiches look good I would try it but never...
Read moreThe worst egg sandwich. The sandwich came out so fast I’m not sure it was even freshly made. Fast is good but I have to question too fast because of the quality. When anyone orders food out to expect it to be cooked or made correctly because you are spending your money at a business. The sandwich was gross! I called the deli to ask if they did make them fresh and told him that it’s wasnt good the owner tried to give me a leason. Well sir I don’t need a leason on quality food, I think you need to reconsider getting a new morning cook so this type of thing doesn’t happen. And honestly I’m sure other people feel that way too about how they make egg sandwich’s or something for lunch but they’ve already gotten on the road and don’t have time to turn around. I threw that cold rubbery sandwich out my car window!!! I’m I’m saying is better quality when cooking goes along way unless he is tired of the business and just doesn’t care the kind of food people buy and eat. First time there and I will never go back. 🤮🤢 if I wanted a sad/crappy egg sandwich I would have went to a...
Read moreHas gone downhill since business changed hands. Started off smoothly with service and prices remaining consistent but since then, the owner has erased prices and will not display them for anything other than salads and cold cuts. A chicken cutlet specialty sandwich on a hero has gone from $10 to $15 and the kicker is that every time you are charged a different price. Also snacks and pastries are apparently $3-$5. And adding an extra egg or slice of cheese to a breakfast sandwich is an extra $3 as well. Their prices were already a little high to begin with but now it's just excessive and advantageous. If you need snacks or drinks you're better off going to Chestnut (Olive Tree) Mart and as for deli food, try Perry's up the road. The only way I'll be going back is if they reduce their prices AND display them. This review doesn't include the fact that they were supposed to open an ice cream parlor Spring 2022 but now have...
