Iron Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Town of Hoosick

This place was exactly what I had hoped for when I found myself needing a decent Internet connection and place to work remotely; the upstairs had a good offering of seating and outlets, plenty of natural lighting and was decently away from the noise.

The coffee selection is somewhat unique, while still offering the basics from a cafe. The only thing is that I just hoped for a cold brew and/or iced coffee choice, but it was unavailable during the cold winter season (though they made me an ice Americano and it was enough). The breakfast sandwich was pretty tasty, and they have a smattering of small pastries to try.

Lastly, for someone who took up space in their cafe for a while work day (trying to be a good patron and order every fee hours), they were polite, accommodating, and never made me feel unwelcome. Would recommend.

Stopped in for a third time about a month ago and brought my parents along. I loved the atmosphere and coffee, it's a great overall feel. I had been telling my father to stop in for a while so I was glad to be taking him, while there he was curious about their machine in the back and started asking the manager friendly questions about it. When the manager started to respond another customer moved their chair so my father said "Im sorry I didn't catch that" and the managers response... "well that's because I haven't finished yet." My boyfriend and I were shocked, I couldn't believe he just said that, and pretty rudely to my father asking an innocent question. I'm a firm believer in treating customers and your elders with respect but I guess not everyone has...

I stopped in tonight and I am so mad I haven't been stopping in since the day they opened! The staff was amazing, the atmosphere is very inviting, and the coffee is incredible. I got a Sumatra and it was earthy, dark, and very rich. I also picked up a bag of coffee beans for a Christmas gift and I am absolutely sure it will impress my brother who is an absolute coffee snob:) I am so excited for such a cool place in Hoosick Falls! I drink coffee all day long and there is finally a place that offers a truly outstanding cup of coffee. I look forward to trying their specialty drinks in the future!
