Morey's Bar — Restaurant in Town of Hull

Update: 5 years later. If I could give this bar a half star, I would. (Just because the doors are open and they serve drinks and that deserves a half star.) Check your glassware to make sure it is clean. The clientele and staff still leave little to be desired. Something smells funky when you walk in. Not sure if it's the location or the people. Bartender had a very small amount of customers and still couldn't handle keeping drinks refilled, even when making eye contact and a friendly hand gesture to get their attention. Note: Only went back because this was the choice of the birthday girl (and it's around the corner from a popular bar to go to on ones birthday) I have not worked in the bar industry since college and even as old as I am, my grandmother could have served drinks faster. Worst service in Stevens Point :-( As a former bartender, I understand when a bar is busy and I also understand other "behind the scenes" problems. I gave this bar 3 chances... Initially, I thought it was just an "off" day. Unfortunately, it turns out that this bar has atrocious service at all...

Don't know where to begin. I pull up in the spot and I see nothing but Chevrolet's and Portesi Cheese Fries. Not sure how you drive a cheese fry to a bar but at least 4 people did it. (Thin Crust) I made my way into the bar and upon opening the door I was greeted by 2 tall exotic women wearing Chevrolet T-Shirts. (Another Star) I went to the bar to get a drink and the bartender was talking about the superiority of the GM LS series small blocks, their impressive rocker to valve geometry, and well designed cylinder head combustion chambers. I had about 4 drinks down when the owner of the bar came in and started explaining why the cam profiles offered in the factory engines were based off of cams used in local racing events by legends such as Dick Trickle and various other Chevy loving racers.

Not much to say otherwise. Great place. Bartenders know the difference between piss and lemonade...
