Buona Fortuna Pizza Inc — Restaurant in Town of Islip

I so wanted to give a local shop near my business establishment a shot. There's not many places that deliver in the area for pizza... The initial interaction on the phone was pretty poor but the guy sounded frustrated and overwhelmed so I figured okay no big deal. When I asked if they take card (which really any business should take today) he said he prefered cash. I checked to see if I had enough on my I did not. So I got an attitude for paying over the phone with my card... Than I was told 45 minutes for 2 pies to be delivered... Around the block. When I asked to confirm the long time I was told we're busy but it will probably be a little earlier. 55 minutes later... No pizza. I called and again got an attitude and was told "yeah he'll be there soon." No apology, nothing. Obviously they feel any local business alliance is not important. I will not be ordering from them again. Update: 1:05 minutes later. We finally have pizza. No apologies for the wait and not even a thanks for the tip. Which I should not have given but I felt bad...

l will never consider ordering from this place again, I called one saturday at 1120am to order 2 pies for pickup, its says they open at 11am on sat. And was hung up on 4 times, 2 times someone picked up and hung up, 3rd time someone had me hold for about a good 3mins if not more, then I called the 4th time and some guy answered in the most angriest,miserable voice and yelled , "WE'RE NOT OPEN YET AND TRYING TO SETUP!! And hung up on me, Like are they serious? They could have just picked up the first time and said to me I'm sorry we're not open yet and will be _time. But no obviously the guy is miserable and clearly should not be in the fast food business, and especially if its based off customer sales, sorry but great Customer service is what matters most to customers and when you speak like that after having them wait on hold is just unacceptable ! I wouldn't even give 1 star but...

Pizza is my favorite food by far. I could eat pizza every day, therefore I am very critical when it's good and when it's just not there. This pizzeria is my neighborhood go to. It's always delicious, no matter which kind you get. What is even more amazing about this little pizzeria is their pastas! Their pastas are so good! Their penned a la vodka is the best I ever had anywhere around. Their pasta with chicken alfredo amazing. I never liked pasta Alfredo until I tried theirs. Also, their chicken parmagian roll is another of our favorites. We get pizza, and these other 3 specials are our favorites. We order on a regular basis, and they never disappoint.
