Burger King — Restaurant in Town of Islip

They have those paper 'the 'king' hats high up over the counter, It's like they don't want to be seen or talked to. "anyone there"???? There is a large language barrier, with a lot of mis-information relaid thru covid masks. It was a difficult transaction w many misunderstandings. You bring your full BK receipt to the front register to pay and don't get it back.There were 2 customers ahead of me at the front counter and my food was getting cold. Clerk gives u a paper cash register receipt which shows time of purchase, how u paid and your change which u bring back to BK to finally to get your food. No BK receipt given when u pick up your food. How do I/they know what I ordered and paid for if my order is messed up and needs to be fixed???? I asked for and quickly got my food receipt so they do have a register that prints but if u don't ask u won't get one!!!! Kinda snaky..There is no more 2 for $6 Whoppers..DPAve...

I've been to this location twice. The BK app never works for this location, would have patronized more if it did.

The self-ordering screens don't work properly. The register at burger king doesn't work so you have to pay at the gas station register. Yes, this location is in a gas station. It's like a rest stop on a highway but more awkward.

The uniformed bk employees are nice and the food is what I expect it to be from bk. But the entire experience is awkward being in a gas station. inside the building stinks between the bathroom, gas fumes, and other odors I...

DO NOT EAT HERE. I had severe diarrhea and ended up throwing up and passed out for 2 min because i ate a whopper meal. And i know it was because of the meal because all i threw up was that. My stomach felt like it was exploding. I don’t know if they serve old food or if the work space where the food is isn’t clean or what. But that was the WORST experience of my life. I was SO CLOSE to going to the hospital. Never again...
