Xing Wang Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Islip

This was my favorite place. I order from here at least 1x a week, they know my address by heart. But after today? NEVER AGAIN! first I called, lady asked me to hold, I sat on hold for 10 minutes listening to them talk to each other in the background. Finally hung up and called back, placed my order & when I received it, one of the combos was wrong (simply had white rice instead of fried like I ordered) so I called them back....they were always so accommodating in the past when an error was made, but this time? This time the woman insisted I ordered what she sent, when someone sitting with me heard I ordered correctly and SHE HUNG UP ON ME! I was shocked at the terrible customer service she showed today. I did call back and speak to the gentleman and voiced what happened, he offered to correct the problem, but sorry too little too late. Bad business practice and I will NEVER take my business there again, there are plenty of good Chinese restaurants in my area. Don't need to be treated that way....

I love love love this restaurant! I was having a party and needed Chinese food one day but the one nearby my home was closed so I came here. From when I entered the place, the owners were super kind and accommodating! I had a pretty confusing order but the owners were super friendly and patient throughout my experience! The food came out super quick too and of course was delicious. They also included some awesome extra touches like complimentary drinks and a lot of extra utensils. Small talk can come a long way haha. I strongly recommend this restaurant and I'll be coming here at least once a week!...

I was apprehensive to try a new place but I'm very pleased with the decision to give this place a shot. I didn't get anything super special but the BBQ spareribs combination platter with pork fried rice and egg roll was great. Rice was cooked perfectly and properly seasoned as was the ribs! Egg roll was standard but good. I also ordered cheese wontons so that my order would hit the $15 minimum for delivery and they were soooo good! I will definitely be getting food from here again and look forward to trying other items...
