Comalapa Restaurant BRENTWOOD — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Probably the worst experience i have ever experienced. First we were greeted w attitude and as soon as we sat they said we need to order now even though we didn’t get to even sit down. Maybe they should have the time at the door what time they’re closing. But it’s also their job to be as generous as possible. The food was bad, the chicken nuggets for the baby was burnt and cold, the carne asada was dry as hell as well as the tacos. I ordered pupusa de loroco and when i said that more bitter than usual and not edible they said nothing can be done not even changing it or not even charging me. It’s an only cash place but they charge tax without advertising it. We were told the kitchen closes at 8:30 but more people came to sit down and they got serve with no problem. Visiting Comalapa Restaurant for the first time I was very satisfied with the food and service. We had various pupusas (typical Salvadorian cuisine) with all of them freshly made and delicious. Food was ok ,but the waitresses was attentive so that's a plus. One thing we saw was that the boss was loud in his ways of explaining things to his workers.we go to eat ,not to hear another's conversations.
