Dunkin' — Restaurant in Town of Islip

The drive through was so pleasant because the young man at the window was so friendly and professional— 5 strong stars for him; however, I looked at my grill cheese and there was no cheese on it - all melted on the cardboard casing-the manager tried to explain to me that a grill cheese will melt off and that was why there was NO cheese on my “grilled cheese sandwich!” For 10 years at least- I’ll always go to Dunkin Donuts obviously for donuts and coffee- but half the time it’s for the awesome grill cheese!- hope that isn’t a new thing! She (manager) re-made it worse with another crazy explanation- ughhh- I have NEVER returned a fast food item in my life!...

Do not frequent this establishment if you want a quick sandwich. I tried the Anytime Breakfast (plain bagel, egg, cheese and ham ($3.75). The bagel was tasty the ham was processed and only covered half the bagel. On another day during lunch I passed by and ordered an "everything bagel" with chicken salad and small ice tea ($5.50). Again the bagel was tasty but there was only two and one half tablespoons of chicken salad on the sandwich (yes, I measured). They may serve great drinks and donuts but the rest is CRAP. Support your local deli...you may have to get out of the car (no drive thru) but you get more for what...

Store not off to a good start. Website indicate that this store open at 5am. Placed “order to go””, arrived to pick up, staff fid not even know the order was on the terminal. Placed another to go order this morning at 5:30am,pulled up at the drive thru, no one answered to take my order. Pulled up to the pickup window, no one there, honked my horn, no one answered. Parked my vehicle and went inside where one worker told me that the manager said that the drive thru opens at 6am. I asked her to show me the sign that indicated that, she could not. Survived before this store opened and will continue to do so...
