Grafton Street Pub — Restaurant in Town of Islip

I ordered takeout a Grafton st burger burger (description 3 quarters of a pound of chopped sirloin steak patty with cheese bacon and sauteed onions)which comes with Irish "Chips" an extra basket of irish chips and jalapeno poppers. I paid extra to add bacon and mushrooms to the burger ( i didnt notice that it was supposed to come with bacon already) burger arrives no bacon no mushroom and no onions. The bottom bun was soggy from all the grease of the irish chips which were extremely greasy and soggy ( the side order of irish chips were the same). The patty itself while pink on the inside was extremely dry and flavorless. The only decent thing in my order was the Jalapeno poppers until i found one that was completely unbreaded on one side and looked like a shriveled prune. Never eating from here again major disappointment would have gotten a better burger and fries from BK...

This is a retraction

I have not been here yet. I visited to check it out. The place seems nice...from the outside. Three stars for appearance, but it is not wholly fair to them. It was not a true visit. I did not enter theirq portal. What happened was I wrote a review for another place, in Manhattan, and it was erroneously submitted here, by me, then deleted.

Hence, my four well-drafted paragraphs were tossed and I am still upset. The feeling will subside eventually. That is an hour of writing then editing I will never get back. I take rating very seriously because more than fifty thousand people have read my reviews. Google software insists that I wrote it for Grafton when technically I was not a patron.

I will visit there very soon to make it right. The edited version of this drivel will then be written properly and submitted before leaving...

I'm going to be honest , if you're going to come here , just come for drinks on a friday or saturday night . I went on a Friday night to to get a quick bite and some drinks. We ordered an appetizer and two grilled cheeses . The meals came before the appetizer . Our waitress was really sweet but very forgetful . Took over 20 mins to get two waters. And our appetizer was a pretzel and it seemed as if they just microwaved it for ten seconds and sent it out . Also drink wise, the bartenders aren't amazing during the day but the night shift is different . I hate to be a debbie downer but I wouldnt recommend...
