Had a beautiful lunch here this past Saturday with my friend and everything was amazing. We ordered crab cakes as a starter and they were perfectly cooked and accompanied by a delicious dipping sauce. We both ordered the lobster rolls and omg they were loaded with lobster and just so damn delicious! I ordered the salty mermaid or something like that, it was a yummy drink. Although tbh I did expect it to be bigger for what it cost. For dessert we ordered a slice of cheesecake and Keylime pie and they did not disappoint. Our waitress, Brianna, was attentive and super friendly. We will definitely be back to see her and have more lobster rolls! 😊 **I will say it was definitely more than we expected it to be. So plan on a pricey meal when you come here. Let me be clear that it was absolutely worth it, we just didnt realize because the menu has most items listed as being market price. However, since we didnt ask, the fault is ours.**

My daughter made a reservation for two for Father’s Day dinner. There was so many people without reservations trying to get a table and they were willing to wait. We had a reservation and it was not being honored. The hostess was not being cooperative nor willing to help our cause until I demanded to speak to a manager. The manager never came and we were told to wait 15 mins. Then the only table offered to us was in the hot hot sun . It was unbearable. The bus boy saw our situation and got us a manager. Thank God the manager worked her magic and a table in the shade was provide and she was terrified. The food was not that great we had watermelon salad which was ridiculous cheep cheese was of extreme poor quality. . It should have been with feta cheese and some mint leaves We liked the bake clams. The lobster roll was fair my portion was a lot less they my daughters. A side sauce of some sort should have been provided with cold slaw. Over priced but you have a nice atmosphere. Will I go back? Never on a holiday. They are not equipped to handle an high levels of traffic and added stress. Honestly I think a better hostess (greeter) could have de-escalated the situation at hand. She showed no concerns nor willing to help us. It was upsetting. Thank you Truthful

I gave Nicky's on the Bay three stars because in my honest opinion they have plenty of room for improvement. The location is absolutely beautiful and if you want to eat by the water this is the perfect spot. However, the food itself could use improving. For starters, they are very strict on the lunch menu ending at 4pm. I would not have minded this but the only vegan option (Impossible Burger) is served at lunch. My friend also wanted the lunch fish tacos but when we got there at 4:55pm we were denied the option. So I had to settle for a cesar salad which in my opinion was also small for the price point. I will say the cocktails were delicious. But the service could have been a little better as well as my friend and I always knew what we wanted but the waitor would only take one request at a time, e.g. put in the order for drinks but not for food, tried to take our order for dinner but after he denied our lunch item request he left again even though we did not need more time. All things considered, I did not love the food but I would come back for the ambiance and maybe just sit at the bar instead. If Nicky's extend their lunch items to dinner items and improve on their hospitality I am sure patrons will be a lot happier.

Went on a week night party of 7 with reservations. Didn’t take too long to be seated. But then once we were sat, it took 17 minutes before anyone even came by to say anything to us. Took 21 minutes to get cups of water, and 45 minutes to get drinks and the appetizers and an hour and 22 minutes before we got our food. At some point another worker came over with menus because they didn’t know if anyone had taken our drink orders or anything. So 5 stars for the view, 5 stars for Diego (the buss boy) who was the only attentive one, 3 or so stars for the food, 0 for the drinks and 0 for the service. It wasn’t like the place was super busy and I would stick to beer and wine for drinks. The mixed drinks were watered down and not flavorful what so ever. Especially not for 15+ a drink. Out of the Bloody Mary, mule, Paloma, pinatas drink, margarita and pina colada the only one that was ok at best was the Bloody Mary. But good thing there was a view.

We so enjoyed our first visit to Nicky’s on Sunday . The atmosphere was fantastic. A gorgeous view and we loved watching all the ferrys and boats passing by. Our server Kat was the best. She offered up suggestions to us as it was our first time and she was on point. I’m not much of a seafood eater so she suggested the short ribs and they were like butter. Appetizers of mussels and clams and even the shrimp cocktail were so fresh and just the right way to start the meal. My husband and daughter both had the Parmesan Halibut and both plates were cleaned!!! We ended our night with the monkey bread a la mode and it was just right. Not too sweet and the ice cream was refreshing. Drinks were great (and strong). Things quickly added up and the bill was high but you pay for the freshness and for the view. We will definitely be retuning. Maybe on a night with some live music.
