Starbucks — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Wish I could give no star. Used to go here everyday and since new staffing…it is the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. This is the first time I’ve ever left a review also…for anything. They made my drink completely wrong and then the manager (who is probably unhappy being 60 years old, working at Starbucks) tried to tell me “so you just don’t like it”. Actually, I know exactly what you made me, and it wasn’t what I ordered. They ran out of (or are probably to lazy to make more) blonde espresso, so they just gave me the house blend. Also no syrup and no cinnamon topping. I know my drink and how it should be made because it’s a 6 dollar cup of coffee. No apologies, no good attitude, just a miserable old lady telling me I didn’t like it, while she eats food behind the counter. The manager should have made it properly, herself, but instead had the same girl who made it wrong the first time, make it again. Understandable if you’re trying to teach her, but you let her do the same thing twice with no leadership or direction. I would know, being a district manager. I am a former partner, so I am understanding of things going wrong from time to time. But I also feel like my experience was unacceptable as someone who frequents this location as it is. I ordered my usual drink, nothing crazy, but the girl on the headset sort of seemed frustrated while taking my order as I NEED modifications for caffeine content for a condition I have. I also ordered another drink for a family member, there was no issue with that one as I didn’t need to modify. I say this because when I then get to the window I am given my family member’s “easier” coffee first. The lid was firmly in place. I then get mine, with the modifications, and the lid was not on the top. It just felt a little malicious, when if I hadn’t been paying attention it could have very easily spilled all over the inside of my car. Additionally, the espresso shots were clearly dead. The drink was actually disgusting. And again, I come here often with no issue. I am very disappointed, all that to say. I rarely leave reviews, but I felt this needed to be voiced as it was not how I intended a Saturday...

Me and my best friend go to any Starbucks weekly. This week was in Islandia. I use my gift card that I add money to so we are always good to go. She will never have to pay with me. I included pictures of the receipt n us n my bacon, egg n sausage wrap. She ordered her usual, egg bites but different types exist within. She chose a drink from her phone, one seen on IG and popular for now to try and if liked, it becomes a repeat order. I have used points for free merchandise before n am back over 600. 400 can be used for lovely coffee mugs (one shown in previous post by me), 200 for any size beverage, and many more options on point usage . Starbucks is nice but it's our time shared that makes any place a five star review. Today 1/13/24 I went for a 3rd day in a row to earn 80 total rewards points.
