Asian Delight — Restaurant in Town of Johnstown

😖😖😖😖 This was terrible and WAY over priced. Over $40 for one combo dinner, one bowl, and one soup! Literally ate bites of this and had to throw away. The wonton soup tasted like water and flour. The wontons in the soup fell apart and were terrible, the shredded pork in the soup was 😖 I added green onions and was charged .50 cents making this disgusting soup over $8. I got the General Tso Shrimp and the shrimp tasted like batter that had not been cooked it was mushy even my husband wouldn't touch it and he eats anything. The sauce was watery and the vegetables were not cooked. Literally raw bellpepper in TSO sauce. My husband got beef and broccoli combo and it came in what looked like a portion control container for $13... I expected way more he was sad with the scoop of rice and side of broccoli and beef he got and said his was terrible as well. I definitely wasn't trying it. I rarely give reviews, only if the place is extremely awesome or absolutely terrible and this place unfortunately was absolutely terrible. I only came here because House Chen was closed but man this was a lesson learned. I will never eat Chinese...

Orefered food from Asian Delight. I am a relatively frequent customer. The cost was around 40.00...with a 5.00 tip. Ti start they are the most expensive out of the Chinese restaurants in the area. One of the items I ordered was a quart of their house soup. While I was grabbing the soup out of the bag, the top was not on securely, and spilled all over my kitchen counter. It was quite a mess. The soup was costly, so I called the owner to explain the situation. She argued with me that she put the top on securely. I mean why would I make this up? I mean after waiting 45 min plus for the food...why would take the time to be bothered to call them if it didn't happen? Ok...then ...they sent me another soup.when the delivery boy arrived...I had the soup bagged up to send back.(bag and paper towels for clean up an added expense).The delivery boy refused to take it back. He told me he did not want to put it in his car and proceeded to walk down my driveway and throw it in my garbage can. I asked him not to do that he ignored me. JUST Not acceptable. I will not shop there again....

We like the food served here, however, she is extremely stingy with the packets of sauce. This is always a chore. I always specify how many of each that I want but I don't usually get the amount that I specified. However, the last time that i picked up my order and asked the woman for a certain number of the sauce packets, she got quite rude and was agitated And she chastised me for asking because she had to go in the back to the kitchen to get more sauce packets. She pissed me off and I told her that people pay good money for the food and she shouldn't be so stingy with the extra sauce packets. That lady needs to go to charm school. I will not patronize her restaurant anymore which is a shame for her because we were familiar customers that probably frequented her establishment on a monthly basis.
