I went into Ally's for the first time today (Monday at around 1:30-2pm).
I was warmly greeted and there were two people inside sitting and eating already
There was quite a variety of different foods and desserts...it was almost overwhelming except that you can bet there is something for everyone whether they're looking for a variety of flavors for ice cream and the like or something off of the grill.
I ordered a vanilla shake (soft ice cream) and two wraps (BLT and Grilled chicken with Tomatoes and Lettuce).
Compared to most places i thought the prices were a little high but since this was my first time there i allowed myself not to prejudge and see what the food was about (both with serving size and flavor)
The grill master (I assume Ally?) did ask questions about how i wanted my wraps prepared which i thought was really great to make sure they were how i preferred. Bonus + Star
I waited approximately 7-8 minutes and they were done and ordered to go. They were fairly good sized wraps. I would have preferred more color in my lettuce but the chicken and bacon as well as tomatoes were fresh enough for me. I actually ate both in one sitting.
I wasn't too impressed with the taste and although i didn't ask for condiments on them i felt the lack of at least some salt and pepper on the chicken for a little flavor could have been addressed easily.
Shake was great! Not too thin or thick and definitely great taste!
My experience was pleasant overall and the atmosphere was nice with very friendly and warm staff. i would return but probably for the dessert and i think that's their specialty anyway!
To conclude i liked the service and atmosphere. Good amount of room inside with lots of color and nice atmosphere. Outside had ample space and some activity structures for kids and i think if you bring kids there they would absolutely enjoy themselves playing outside and...
Read moreWent there for 2 chocolate dip cones today, I asked the girl if they had the chocolate dip and she said yes (reason I asked is because I went about 3 weeks ago and it wasn’t available because the machine wasn’t turned on to warm the dip, no problem stuff happens). The girl made the first cone couldn’t get the dip to cover the cone, she proceeded to remove the dip can from the warmer to the counter and mix with a whisk. Dipped the cone again and handed it to me, the cone had so much dip on it took a bunch of napkins to somewhat clean the cone so I could hold it. When I looked at the cone there was definitely something wrong with the dip it was thin and grainy (she proceeded to tell me their dip is thinner) okay she dipped the second cone and I walked to the car to give my granddaughter her cone, we both immediately knew the dip was bad, it left a horrible aftertaste she said I can’t eat this. I bought them both back in and received a full refund with out even one of two workers saying sorry about that. The girl knew the dip is bad and our dip is thinner?? Nope sorry it was rancid! And as a food server, if the cone is that “messed up and covered in chocolate so bad that the customer is standing at the counter cleaning it with napkins so they can hold it take a second to...
Read moreSighhh. I soooo wanted to love it here but this is the second time I've gone here and was told there are no bananas. (The other time was in the summer of 2024) The young man ran downstairs to check and apparently one was found. I asked if I could get light strawberry sauce and was told that there are no toppings on a banana split. Just 3 scoops of ice cream, a banana and whipped cream. That was ridiculous!! I canceled it and just got a vanilla soft serve with sprinkles. My fiance got the 'banana split' because he had planned on getting 2 scoops with a banana cut up in it. We paid, got our order and went outside to sit in our truck and eat. My fiance said that he couldn't find any banana pieces mixed in. Welp, it turned out that the last/only banana was pretty much over ripe and complete mush at the bottom🤢🤢 It was pretty gross. Hopefully this place will learn the proper making of a banana split and teach the kids working there how to make one. If you're going to continually not carry bananas, then it would be wiser to just take it off the menu. Do...
