I went to the German Festival for the first time this year to see it for myself and to do something different for a change. I also thought it would be fun to learn, experience and discover another ethnicity and culture. There were the most well known and common kinds of German foods that one would expect such as bratwurst, apple strudel, pretzels, etc... There were a lot of vendors selling alcoholic beverages like wine and most notably beer, beer and more beer. Lol... I liked listening to the German music and band that played at the venue. Germania has the best festivals staffed completely with friendly volunteers. Become a member and get great food and alcohol at half or more off typical restaurant prices. They also sponsor numerous programs such as dance teams and soccer.
