I refuse to patronize this place ever again, all over $1.25.
That's how much was added to my order for "1 Cup of Water" even though I did not order a cup of water. I assumed the addition of a cup of water to my order was a mistake, so I drove back around and went through the drive thru line again to point it out.
Turns out it wasn't a mistake. When I asked why I was being charged for a cup of water I did not order, the associate at the drive thru window informed me that I was being charged this "Cup of Water" fee because of "inventory depletion." She said this was true at this location for any "non-signature" drinks, i.e., coffee, tea, espresso, water, etc. Hot or cold, didn't matter, it was going to cost an extra $1.25, unless I changed my order to whatever a "signature" drink is, none of which is evident anywhere on the menu, nor was I told I would be charged extra for the cup, or that if I had my own cup I could "save" money. This was a deliberately hidden fee and I wouldn't have noticed had I not asked for a receipt, which is itself strange because the other associates usually hand me a receipt when they give me back my card. But the associate at the window did not give me a receipt or ask me if I wanted one; I had to request a receipt, which I can only assume was withheld in order to perpetuate the deception.
Bottom line: the issue is not the amount of money I was overcharged. The issue is that this franchise is deceiving their customers in order to squeeze an extra $1.25 out of every order for plain old drinks. Multiply that by however many customers order plain old drinks at the drive thru without ever looking at their receipts and you get the idea. You might just think to yourself, "Oh, I guess inflation caused the price of my drink to go up again." But no, you're being charged a separate undisclosed fee for the cup your drink came in for reasons that do not hold water (pun totally intended).

Read moreFirst of all I want to say the only reason I even still go to this Dunkin donuts location is because it's so close to my job but after a year of them messing up my orders and the workers being rude and nasty in general..I think today was my last try. I stood at the counter with no one else in line for 10 minutes. I noticed there were 2 people waiting for their orders, so I figured the workers were totally ignoring me because they were busy making orders but that's the thing they were not busy with orders they were busy talking amongst themselves about what place in the area is the best place to get your nails and eyelashes done and they were obnoxiously loud about it very ignorant behavior I finally just decided to leave because I don't have time to listen to theirnon work problems while I have a limited time to get to work myself..I then went to the other side where the gas station part is and got gas and told the man who worked at the register what had happened he sighed and said it was normal because the people that worked there only collect a pay check while yelling all day about things that have nothing to do with their job..anyway I got gas then had to go back to get change do you know those 2 customers were still waiting on their orders..wow..this is just what happened today I have a years worth of other stories from this Dunkin donuts of how they constantly screw up simple coffee orders of rudeness and just pure laziness but I have already given them way to much of my time and money..I'll make my own God...
Read moreI have been a regular customer of this branch because of the convenience its location. Today not only was my order wrong but the Staff were incredibly rude about it. They pretended to redo my drink and while they were remaking it they were rude and loud about it. When I got the drink back the proportions were CLEARLY wrong. I kindly told the person in the window who did have a good attitude that I knew that my drink was not remade but “fixed” because the proportions were very off (barely any refresher was left in the drink) and I didn’t want to pay for something that was mostly coconut milk. Again I heard the person in the background being rude and disrespectful to lead me. They also forgot my food order and the person cooking the food was also rude and defensive about this. The Staff here are incredibly rude. I have overlooked the other times were the staff in the background and sometimes even in the window were rude, but this time it was severe enough to leave a review about it. I know what it’s like to have a job like this, in fact I use to work in this very branch. But whoever is in charge of this branch needs to do some Urgent training of proper treatment of customer service or a better job hiring.
