Java Cream — Restaurant in Town of Ledgeview

I was coming from the new Mac Dental building after a dentist visit and I wanted a great cup of coffee. This is only a block away, so I decided to check it out. From the minute I walked in, I could tell this was my kind of coffee shop. It was warm and eclectic, they had displays of products including their syrups for coffee. I'm always looking for cleaner and healthier options. I checked out the labels. Pure cane, sugar with NO artificial food colorings! I was ecstatic. I decided on a Lavender Latte (they have a lot of different and unique syrup flavors). I asked a lot of questions, and the 👧 at the front was extremely helpful and so pleasant. 😁 (and patient with me). WOW! It was one of the best coffees I have had in a long time! The coffee itself was high quality, rich and robust. The lavender was flavorful, and it enhanced the coffee, it didn't take over. My taste buds were happy. 👍👍 😁 If you haven't been here, I highly recommend you make the trip. (I would never go to Caribou or Starbucks when you have coffee shops this good) AND THEY HAVE GELATO! I have been to every coffee shop in De Pere, Columbus Ohio, and most of Green Bay and have worked in coffee for five years and this place blows everything out of the water. The espresso rarely hurts my stomach (I stopped drinking coffee altogether for a while because it got so bad) and the white mocha he sources from Canada is just INSANE. The gelato is sooooo delicious and every time I order for the girls at work (I never order Starbucks. They suck. support local!) I always go to Java Cream. They are always hesitant to give up Starbucks but they always come to me after and say “holy- this is great! Where did you get this??”. The owner is so so kind and remembers my order everyday. Amazing little shop!!! I visited around four weeks ago, and I was highly impressed with everything from the shop’s welcoming aesthetic to the gelato’s flavors. What stood out to me the most was the incredible customer service. Walking to the shop for the first time, I had no idea what I wanted. When I was asked what I would like to order, I looked at the man blankly and stated I was unsure. The man proceeded to let me sample several of the flavors, as well as the general customer’s favorite flavor and his personal favorite combination of flavors.
