Stopped here because one of the guys in our group of 12 golfers had to go to the bathroom. We were on our way to the place we were staying for our golf trip, and had no knowledge of this place at all. I wish I could remember the bartenders name, we were here on 6-17. The bartender was awesome and the owners were there as well and were cool too. We ended up staying for many drinks and had dinner too. The food was top notch and the homemade pizza was sooooooo good! We would've stayed longer if we didn't have to check in to where we were staying. Very nice accidental find we made!

Neat, old traditional supper club feel with a dartball board in the dinning area and lots of history to the resturaunt. Loved the mozzarella sticks, burger left something to be desired and the pizza was ok. Would recommend to others.

Definitely a retro Wisconsin bar vibe. Fantastic service and excellent pizza. Crunchy, crackerlike crust on this homemade yumminess.

Negatives first - we were there for 2 hours, had to beg for menus, refills, etc, and it was not at all busy there. EXTREMELY short-staffed. But if you go, even, if the place is empty, be prepared to wait, then wait, then get impatient, then wait some more, then get your menus, then wait a few more times, then wait a few more times, then ask for 4 waters, then wait a lot longer and only get two waters, etc. Anyhow, you get the point.

We were there 2 hours for what should have been 40 minutes. And since it was almost definitely the owner running FOH, I can only assume they either can't or won't pay a living wage for more employees or someone quit. Just know you won't get in and out quickly.

With that said, despite the well-meaning but legendarily slow service, we enjoyed our time there very much. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was old-school northwoods Wisconsin. My kids loved their kiddie cocktails even. The food was great. I wish there was a burger on the menu, but you can't have everything. Prices were great, too. Especially when you factor in price per hour...

If you have an entire night to kill, you should go. Bring the kids. Not just because it's family-friendly, but I doubt you won't want to pay a sitter for how long you'll be away. We will definitely come back here the next time we're in town. We'll just make sure to do so on a night when it's raining and everything out of...

If you're from a city where you're used to food places being open until 11-12 pm you'll be in for a shock when you try to get food after 9-10 pm where 50% of the place close at 9 pm then the rest close their grill at 10 pm (besides McDonald's) however they serve to 12 most nights and if you're looking for decent food (and pizza) this is definitely a place to try.

Since we got off the water late 2 consecutive nights we tried their pizza the first night, which had an amazing crust and the toppings were pretty good, and then the second night we had a steak sandwich and french dip that were pretty good. Their fires and onion rings were amazing so even though we ate at the same place it was a different experience. The staff (and owner) were also very friendly. The only downside was the coke tasted a little funny probably due to old pipes. but for the price it was a very...
