I recently had the opportunity to attend my 20-year class reunion & ordered a 100 mini cookies from Half Baked Cafe with our class colors being Purple, Gold & White and I must say, the cookies they provided for the event were absolutely amazing. Half Baked Cafe understood the assignment & did not disappoint. The variety of cookies offered was impressive. From classic chocolate chip to decadent double chocolate, there was something for everyone's taste buds. Each cookie was freshly baked, with a perfect balance of crispy edges and soft, chewy centers. The aroma alone was enough to make my mouth water. Not only were the cookies visually appealing, but they were also bursting with flavor. The chocolate chip cookies were loaded with generous amounts of high-quality chocolate chips, providing a rich and indulgent experience with every bite. The double chocolate cookies were a chocolate lover's dream, with a fudgy texture and intense cocoa flavor. What set these cookies apart was the attention to detail. The cookies are large and thick with a nice soft texture in the middle like some sort of cookie and cupcake hybrid. Inside was very clean and nice looking. Good variety of fun flavors though most of them kinda tasted the same so far with a hint of differences amung flavor which isnt a bad thing it probablymeans theres not a bunch of synthetic flavoring. They are not overly sweat and have a nice home made qulaity and freshness. We were going to order 5 and the cashier pointed out there was a deal if you order 8 but I don't think we were actually given any different of a price cause the 8 came to something like $35 and really I don't need 8 cookies even if they are giant thick fluffy cookies. The price other wise per cookie is very reasonable especially when you consider these are huge homemade type cookies. I wont saw its the best but definitely one of the better cookies ive had they for sure are pretty above average especially as far as bakeries in wny go this one definitely is a stand out not just because its one of the better cookies but overall. The place had a genuine welcoming vibe and it's definitely worth checking out. I'm not out that way often but next time I am ill definitely stop by to get a couple more.

I also hear their chocolate milk is amazing, I didn't try it myself to confirm.

I am the first to support small businesses. I had family in from out of state and I had bragged about this place for over a week before they came into town. On their last night in town, we go to get ice cream. It’s a Tuesday night, 7:15pm and raining outside. There are 7 of us and we order just over $50 in ice cream and another $20 in cookies to take home. We asked if we can put down chairs in the dining room while we eat and we get a rude response back of “well are you all going to want to sit??”. Everything we did, seemed as thought we were such an huge inconvenience. They gave us attitude when we ordered the cookies mixed into the ice cream (which is one of their specialties) and again when the kids needed to use the bathroom before we left. We were out of the building before 8 when they closed. The next day, I call to speak to the manager. I was able to speak with the assistant manager. She said she would pull the tape and have to manager call me back. I never heard back… My aunt also called the next day from Florida because she was so upset with our service and she also spoke with the assistant manager and never heard back. She had no idea I had called the day before. Very sad this happened - sad to say, I will no longer be visiting this small business and I would never refer anyone else...
