Ok so me and my boyfriend went out for a date night on our own, which is a rareity for us. It was a Friday night about 8pm. We had been here with family before and had great experiences. The atmosphere was perfect at this time of night even though it was still slightly busy, the way the seating is arranged and how high back the booth walls are it makes it feel very cozy for good conversation. Our waitress (I wish I could remember her name!!) Was extremely outgoing and attentive (but not overattentive). You could tell she had alot of tables she was managing including larger parties and we still felt like a priority. We basically devoured the menu, which has so many incredible options from Mexican, to seafood, comfort food classics, etc. We started with the sampler with potato skins, postickers, onion rings and motzorella sticks. We ordered our entrè's at the same time and his loaded fries came out with the sampler. Everything was delicious, everything fried was crispy, the potato skins had TONS of bacon which is obviously a great start 😂 and plenty of dipping sauces. We were both in a fry trance with the loaded fries which was a huge portion. My boyfriend had the full rack of honey flavored ribs but they had alot of options for sauces. It came with another side and he chose the mac n cheese. The ribs were fall off the bone tender but were hot in spots and semi-cold in spots. Not sure why, maybe they were done earlier then the rest of the food. The mac n cheese was good just a slight weird flavor, maybe the cheese choice. But overall the ribs and the mac n cheese were good. I had the shrimp platter with fries. They were big butterfly shimp not the wimpy ones with no tail and the fries were fresh and crispy. Even though we were both basically stuffed at this point we couldn't take our eyes off the desert menu, I had the "temptation island" which was a warm big piece of decadent chocolate cake with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream and hot fudge and warm peanut butter drizzle. I honestly almost went back tonight just for a piece again. My boyfriend had the lemon cake and it was light but extremely flavorful. We left with a to go plate with half the rack of ribs, fries, and a few items from the sampler. Even with the tiny rib issue it in no way deterred us and we will be back hopefully very very soon. It's the kind of meal you think of in the days after. All together a $77 meal, and with the portion sizes and flavors it was more than worth it. We left 100 because honestly the service was perfect. We didnt want to just go to texas roadhouse or the normal spots in watertown again. This is the kind of place you go when you dont know exactly what youre craving, because they have it all with the perfect atmosphere. The only advice I could give is having the greeters know a little more detail about the specials if they will be the ones notifying people, but seriously this...
Read moreI’ve been to this restaurant before, and had a good experience. The wait staff very friendly and expedient. Today, however was a bit different. I wasn’t in any huge rush and had expressed that I wasn’t. I was expecting to sit down have a cheap, easy to prepare meal for lunch. Even though I wasn’t in a rush, I would expect to be asked what I’d like to drink within a few minutes, it took almost 15 minutes. After getting my drink it took another 15 minutes to ask what I’d like to eat, which took another 15 to get. (Nearly 45 mins at this point) I only ordered chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks. The chicken was undercooked. Needless to say, I wasn’t in any mood to finish the meal. Another 20 minutes or so goes by and I’m asked if I need anything. I told the waitress “I’d like the check, please” without complaint. The waitress was inattentive but very kind, up to this point. I was also very kind to her. Seeing that I had only eaten one mozzarella stick and one piece of chicken, her mood changed. She wasn’t rude but now, finally, expedient. She didn’t ask if everything was okay or if I had any concerns. Had she asked I would have happily explained. She handed me the bill, at full price. I paid with a tip and left, dissatisfied. Despite the service and lake of questioning, I left a tip. I feel badly about writing this negative review; I have never left a negative review before. But, I feel this needs to be recognized. I’m sure this a decent place to eat and given the area a fairly well known place to become a regular for...
Read moreTruly one of the best places I have ever dined. The atmosphere is calm and beautiful. The waitresses were incredibly kind, engaging, down-to-earth, and welcoming. A delightful touch was the custom music they played, created specifically for the restaurant, which added to their evident enjoyment and dedication to their work—a rare sight these days.
The menu offers a wide range of prices, with some dishes starting at $10 and others going up to $40. Regardless of the price, the food is consistently excellent, and the portions are generous, often leaving you with leftovers. Their diverse menu includes fish, burgers, wraps, sandwiches, chicken, pasta dishes, and more.
The booths are of decent size, making it a suitable place for both children and the elderly. The restaurant has a strong hometown feel and actively promotes local venues and attractions. If you're hungry and crave real food, I highly recommend choosing this place over any local fast-food chain. I will definitely be returning and recommending it to others. I wish nothing but positivity for this...
