We love this new local spot in Malta! They have really great breakfasts & a variety of coffee/latte choices. We had the egg soufflé that came with a side salad. The soufflé was flavorful & flaky! We also split the fruit parfait and that was really good & sweet. My go-to coffee is their oat-milk lavender latte (iced). It's soooo good. Definitely recommend, they are a little on the pricier side but nothing out of the norm for the area. Not to mention, super cozy spot next to the ice cream place - cute patio to sit outside and eat. Love it!
UPDATE: I unfortunately have to adjust my review. This spot was great last Summer, but we have not had good experiences this year. The staff is friendly for the most part, and I recognize how hard they work in the food trailer, however, I think communication and operations need improvement. We ordered breakfast, an iced latte and a regular Nutella latte over the phone. She said that it would be 15 mins. We get there at 15 mins and are told that there's actually 10 orders ahead of us so we ended up waiting longer than expected. So, we go to pick our coffees up, and the woman at the coffee bar ended up giving us both iced drinks. She came off snappy and said that the size we ordered only comes in iced. We did not know this, nor did she ask over the phone, nor did we say iced, nor did she offer to re-make the drink. She just stared at us and walked away like "oh well". It rubbed us both the wrong way and was uncomfortable. Right after we picked up our order, we went to eat and the egg soufflé was cold and the side salad was probably not needed given how small it was. However, the burrito was hot and at the right temperature. Anyway, the food and drinks are still flavorful and we liked our meal for the most part, but given the sub-par experience lately, I am not sure it's worth the price. It's too bad because it's a really cute concept and cozy location!
Also, they have the ability to order on their website but you get to the very end and it doesn't work or go through. This should be removed from their site entirely, last time we did this the staff said they didn't even know it was an option. So, definitely call ahead...
Read moreMy husband and I have frequented the ice cream window and always enjoyed our treat. My daughter, her guy and I, decided to try the breakfast trailer. Lovely outdoor spot with plenty of seating. It was a Sunday morning, so probably not the best time as they were very busy and we didn’t get there till a little bit after 11. They had plenty of choices but unfortunately were out of a few items. We ended up ordering 3 different breakfast burritos and specialty coffees. Coffees came in a reasonable time and were delicious but our actual food took way too long. Our burritos were delicious and large when our food did arrive. I didn’t have a problem with it because I was fine just relaxing and chatting but my companions were extremely hungry so were getting a little hangry, lol Next time we go will either during the week ( perk of being retired ), or much earlier if on a weekend. Prices a bit high but for cooked to order and the quality, and location I feel unfortunately this is the norm. The shop is beautiful with lots of treasure's if on the hunt. Everyone was...
