Gabrielle Chocolates & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Town of Manlius

I'm somewhat of an Ice Cream afficionado with a particular interest in creamy homemade varieties. Gabrielle Chocolates and Ice Cream definitely is among the best I've had. The ice cream is smooth and not grainy, rich tasting, and makes you want to return quickly! I liked the waffle cone with my Chocolate Chip cookie dough, but I have had one better in Virginia. The owner was present, fully dedicated to making sure our experiences was perfect. The variety of chocolate and ice cream choices is nearly overwhelmed. The location is conveniently located on the corner of a plaza in Manlius New York and is very clean when you enter. I found it enjoyable to look at all the pictures of young children with ice cream who later had pictures taken in the exact same place 5 to 10 years later....

I really enjoy that there are always at least 2 no-sugar-added ice cream flavors in the dip cooler, and even more flavors packed into quarts in the freezer. The coffee-based flavors are great! I was recently gifted a box of assorted chocolate truffles and OH MYYY they are rich, smooth, and delicious. Each center is different in flavor and texture - I really love unique textures in sweets. The chili ate isn’t waxy or overly sweet. Cute packaging too!

My kids love the choices of ice cream for cones (I’m not crazy about the price for baby cones but you pay for quality!) and all the beautifully wrapped candies on display and the case of chocolates.

I have a real issue when I watch a young man, being talked "down" to, without cause...I watched the owner of Gabrielle's shadowing tightly over her employee, as he politely took our order's, then cashed us out...Sorry, but the young man was performing quite well, and clearly didn't need to be told how to count out our change...He was treated as though he lacked a brain, where as I'm pretty sure he did...I could only feel compassion for This young man, thinking how embarrassed he must be...This was both my first and last visit to Gabrielle Chocolates & Ice Cream in Manlius...May I suggest a course in Effective Speaking, just my...
