Mayfield Grill — Restaurant in Town of Mayfield

We ordered takeout so I can’t speak to anything beyond that but overall the experience was good! Reasonable prices, everyone was friendly, both when ordering and picking up, and everything was ready on time! When picking up there was plenty of parking in the large lot by their building.

We ordered a meat lovers pizza, wings, and boneless wings! The pizza was just okay, my husband ate some of it but as excited as I was for it I just couldn’t get into it- I think it was just a bit overcooked and maybe some of the ingredients just weren’t for me. I’d be curious to try some of their other pizzas in the future for sure! It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t especially good. I was surprised by the side sauce that came with our wings, usually you see blue cheese or ranch but this was sort of a whipped sour cream mixture, which again wasn’t necessarily bad it just wasn’t for me personally. Those things aside, I’d love to wrap up with the fact that their wings are the best wings, THE BEST WINGS, I have ever had- and we’re from Buffalo! They were literally perfect. The right amount of crispy, right amount of juicy, right amount of sauce… I am still drooling over those wings and can’t wait to go back for more.

I had never been there before, and at first, it seemed like everything was going well. I ordered my drink and food, and we got that right away. Then, as we were eating, the waitress was gone, working behind the bar. Needless to say, my wings were cold and saturated in sauce. I don't normally complain, but this was starting to get crazy. It was over half an hour, then decided to get up and order my own drink at the bar. I carried it back to my table. It was not that busy when we first started, but midway it started to pick up. I was very disappointed 😞 because it seemed like 2+ hours before we got the check... Our waitress did not even check on us. She kept going to all the other tables. As just as we thought she was coming over, nope....Wow! That's all I can say. Thank goodness for Kevin Alexander playing that night, or it would have been so much worse... Customer service is not...

The mushroom swiss burger was tasty but sloppy. The chips taste very good and appear to be homemade and the chicken is perfectly crispy but dry inside. The philly steak sub tastes like ground beef. Almost as if the steak was ground up, cooked and scooped into a hoagie roll. The fries are also very soggy. For a 2 minute drive from the restaurant to home after getting fresh from the grille I expected better. The takeout area was also cramped and not appetizing to the eyes. Food safety concerns here that you might not want your customers seeing. It was the first and last time we choose this place to dine. Too many other establishments around to settle with this less than...
