I use to work here and this place is a joke and completely unprofessional. They keep fly strips hanging where food is being prepared. The weight of the food is raw weight unlike it states on the menu. They keep the door to the musty basement open where there are mice and mice droppings all over but they say thats how they cool themselves down. U will see it as u are in there.People drop food on the floor and were told it was okay to still use bc it was just going in the fryer anyways. Staff does not wash their hands. It's just a complete waste of your money. U can get regular store frozen pizza that taste better than there. They order everything in bulk threw renzi and Davis Brothers so u can just cut out the middle man and do urself the favor. The fish comes from fish cove in Liverpool and is OK sometimes but is not always fresh. If they don't sell out that week they freeze it at improper temperatures and serve it the following week bc they are too cheap to throw it away. The employees feel that wd cut into there paychecks. This is a bit long so stick with me friends lol. My wife and I LOVE Damianos. At one point we were ordering every week and they almost knew us by name (before the pandemic 😒). We still order and we still love them. The staff is always friendly and they deliver on time with fresh delicious food. They offer a variety of delicious baked goods and foods. Ive tried almost everything on their list and have not been disappointed even once. Their prices are also fair considering the competition. Their customer service always been friendly. I HIGHLY recommend them. Also their mozzarella sticks are made with their own dough. Amazing!! They also have a new site for ordering online. We love it but I would make one suggestion. Some of the items don't have details for example the tenders dont say how many or the pastries dont say what kind, at least from what we saw. Denise at the Bake Shop made my wedding cake in October of 2015. We've since then used her for cakes & cookies where I work and every time the goodies are just as good as the last. My wedding cake was a simple vanilla and chocolate layered cake with what they call "better cream" which is a whipped like topping. It is delicious and not as sugary as traditional buttercream. I wanted simple messy like frosting and Denise knew just what I meant. Her website and Facebook show off her baking skills and innovative ideas. The bake shops pizza, cookies, cakes, brownies and everything are all great and the staff is outgoing and funny.
