Showboat Dockside Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Milo

We stayed nearby at Plum Point Lodge and decided to walk down to the Showboat Restaurant for dinner. The location is definitely its strongest point—we were seated outside just a few feet from the water with a beautiful view of Seneca Lake.

Service was a bit slow, but not terrible. They had a decent beer selection, which was a nice plus. I ordered the steak with mashed potatoes. The steak was just okay and didn’t quite feel worth the price. The mashed potatoes, unfortunately, were nearly inedible—dry, possibly microwaved, and lacking any creaminess. My wife had the coconut shrimp, which she said was just average.

Overall, the food and service didn’t impress, but if you’re in the area, it’s still a great spot to grab a drink and enjoy the scenery...

Cute little restaurant, right on the lake with beautiful views. Service here was great. Our server was super friendly and helpful. She made good recommendations with the menu and checked on us frequently. Food was good. My husband enjoyed the wings---not breaded and freshly fried. My chicken BLT was large and well done.

Sat outside right on the water. Casual American fare, burgers, wings, mussels, steak, club sandwiches We went about 3pm before dinner rush, perfect timing, they were prepping for trivia night. They had docks, most were under 30ft they did have a floating dock that would fit one around 40 ft and looked about 5or 6ft deep, but the lake is pretty shallow this week, so could be better at normal levels.
