We stayed nearby at Plum Point Lodge and decided to walk down to the Showboat Restaurant for dinner. The location is definitely its strongest point—we were seated outside just a few feet from the water with a beautiful view of Seneca Lake.
Service was a bit slow, but not terrible. They had a decent beer selection, which was a nice plus. I ordered the steak with mashed potatoes. The steak was just okay and didn’t quite feel worth the price. The mashed potatoes, unfortunately, were nearly inedible—dry, possibly microwaved, and lacking any creaminess. My wife had the coconut shrimp, which she said was just average.
Overall, the food and service didn’t impress, but if you’re in the area, it’s still a great spot to grab a drink and enjoy the scenery...

They had docks, most were under 30ft they did have a floating dock that would fit one around 40 ft and looked about 5or 6ft deep, but the lake is pretty shallow this week, so could be better at normal levels.
