I’ve frequented this dunkin for years now as it’s a 4 minute drive from my house but my most recent interaction with one employee was enough to deter me for the foreseeable future(on top of a steady decline in quality of service). I’ve been using the dunkin on the go to place my drive thru orders for a few years now, I’ve never had any issues and usually by the time I get to the dunkin or thru the line my items are ready or don’t take long. Recently instead of placing the order at my home I placed it at the Stewart’s across the street anticipating a long line to wait in. Upon arrival there was not a single car in the drive-thru nor were there many in the lot. Once I pulled up I said “hello I have an on the go for (name), I’m a little early today I’m sorry about that!” to which the girl on the speaker said no problem and had me move up. Like I said I frequent this dunkin so I’m always kind to the employees and use my pleases, thank yous, good mornings, what have you. Once I pull up (again NO CARS BEHIND ME) my window was down and their window was open. I’m patiently waiting when the one woman who always works window and has a face mask with some sports team on it loudly begins complaining about my order where I can hear her. Eventually she says “well I gotta wait for all HER stuff to be done since she wanted to be here ONE MINUTE AFTER ORDERING” said in a very loud, condescending and belittling tone- made to make me feel guilty. Mind you this is not my usual- and I had already apologized at the window for being there so early. To this I said to her “well I could’ve pulled up to the window and ordered the same thing and you still would’ve had to wait for my order??” Because that’s literally how the drive thru works. To which she began going off at me claiming if I ordered at the window I’d get it quicker and she’s going to make to pull around to the end of the line if I do this again. I was a bit shocked at this point- it’s incredibly unprofessional to complain to me the customer about having to do your job. she complained about how she has to wait for the stickers to print and I ordered two espresso drinks when they only have one espresso machine- to me it sounds like she’s taking the fact that her job is not set up for success on me the customer instead of just dealing with the conditions in which she’s been given to work. I can understand being frustrated when your job isn’t set up for success- trust me I work in food service myself- but it’s the job of the employee to ensure the customer doesn’t know about all that and to treat them kindly and with respect. I feel bad for her coworkers that she embarrassed with her outbursts. It looks bad...
Read moreI frequent this location pretty often, but the past few times I've been here the food and service have definitely been subpar. It takes quite a while for the staff to notice anyone at the counter, and when they do they definitely don't seem happy to see you. Took atleast 3 minutes to be helped today, and whoever took my order seemed pissed that I was ordering? Shortly after while my order was being made I overheard the workers complaining and making fun of my order ?? While I was at the counter?? Very odd.. The day before this I had ordered a drink (Mango refresher) and after it was done none of the employees had let me know it was ready? Was almost late to work because there was no indication that it was my order and not someone elses. Any time I order a bagel with cream cheese the cream cheese is applied in a small circle in the center, nearly falling out. In a nutshell I really do expect better service because I've had some minor issues with this location in the past but in more recent times this Dunkin really is a chore to order from.
UPDATE: This location can have my money and business again when they stop employing people that actively seek out people to hurt because they are a minority. It's 2025, Do better. 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ Honestly appalled with about 85% of the service at this...
Read moreThe reason why this Dunkin’ Donuts has such low ratings is because the management here does not care about the customer experience. I came here after dropping my daughter off at the bus stop. It was already a hectic morning, and I only had my cell phone to pay. Instead of telling me that I could come inside and pay with my tap to pay physical at the machine. He told me that Apple Pay wasn’t working, and I was unable to use that sort of payment at this time. I went home to get my wallet to come back to get the coffee and by that point the entire store was talking about how “ dumb it was for me to not have a wallet on me” with this person leading the conversation… I asked to speak to the manager, and that was the manager… while standing in line I saw other people used to have tap to pay, and I realize that I could’ve just been told to use tap to pay inside only at this time but it was clear my business wasn’t wanted. I stop at this Dunkin’ everyday and this is the first time Apple pay wasn’t working. I hope they have a different manager, for if a real...
