Erie Station — Restaurant in Town of Minden

Diner beware! Way over priced!!!! With a 18% charge for dinning in. Not knowing that , I had been wanting to try this place for a very long time . We went for steaks, but we ordered hamburgers, well done, and wings. My hamburger was raw in the middle, tasted frozen and fishy with an overwhelming detergent taste from from the cloth napkins that our silverware was wrapped in . My husband’s was way over cooked. The fries were good. Wings were okay but mild sauce was really not flavorful at all. I was and am still grossed out my the raw fishy detergent tasting burger. The atmosphere is good. The waitress was good from what I can tell. They do not appreciate their customers or they wouldn’t charge you an 18% charge on top of their overpriced food prices. There are much better places in the area with much better food that appreciate their customers. I would never go to this establishment ever again and I will not be recommending this to anyone ! They should tell you about their underhanded business practices before you order food from them. I would’ve gotten up and walked out if I would’ve known they were charging me 18% more for my meal just for sitting at a table.. to top this off my husband and I both had stomach issue the next morning....

Warning!! Owners adding an 18% tax to all orders no matter how big the party( 1guest or 10)....The food was mediocre at Best!! Not impressed and the only lasting impression was the Husband and wife owners trying to explain why they charge 18% to all orders....(to help cover the cost of their employees) I thought a fair wage did that...my guess it is to cover the amount of guests who eat there once and Never go back....take my Warning and Beware of the Erie Station....the only Reason to eat there is to prove to yourself that any other place you go is much Better....I Guarantee the Poor waitress doesn't get the 18%....so I tipped her an additional $20...oh what a shameful place.....People Beware!!! The waitress was nice....that's why the 1 🌟 Oh and the fish fry was $25....for a piece of Fish and a side of fries.....NOT even close to being Worth...

This place had really good food and service however it was just me and my friend and I got a burger, he got chx parm, an order of mozzarella sticks and fries. We each had a 1 drink and the bill was 115$!!! Then the waitress pointed to the fine print at the bottom of the menue and it said "18% service charge on all dining room orders" and that did not include tip! I was a chef for 20 years and have eaten at a million restaurants and have NEVER seen this. What service?! You mean the service included with dining in a restaurant? In no way is it okay to charge 115$ for what us 2 people ordered. For the kind of money we could've gone to a fancier restaurant for sure. $115.00, at a bar!!! Beware of the pricing if you dine in!
