Lida's Breakfast & Lunch — Restaurant in Town of Minoqua

Recently went and had breakfast, husband ordered coffee and OJ I ordered an OJ.....2 OJs came out along with 2 cups of coffee....ok whatever We watched as many tables were seated after us, they got drinks and food orders were taken....we waited over 30min from drinks to someone taking our order....I was ready to walk out...someone finally took our order and when it came out hubby's breakfast was supposed to be a half order they gave him a full order, my breakfast came out completely wrong omlett, toast was burnt 1 of 2, by the time anyone came back to check on us they were brining the check, like hey this isnt what I ordered...at this point it had been 1.5hours for breakfast....they took just the omlett of our bill she didnt even let me finish telling her about the other issue, bill included 2 coffees and everything else. I paid the bill and left....its honestly going to be a while before I give them another chance....if ever....terrible service food was awful Noise in the restaurant was also unpleasant a baby screaming the entire time, and some entitled Karen bringing her dog in...not listed as a service dog. Neither of these 2 things were the restaurants fault, but perhaps putting up a sign to leave your furry...

It's hard to find a restaurant that checks the service box but Lida's knocked it out of the park. I dined at Lida's for breakfast on Sunday, November 12th with 2 friends and we were all very pleased. We were welcomed warmly by Lida herself and the restaurant was busy, a good sign. I was immediately struck by the tasteful and newly renovated decor, it was again very welcoming. We came in with our appetite and Lida's did not disappoint. We were greeted immediately with a table, drinks, and a menu promptly. I splurged for the fresh squeezed orange juice and it was amazing!! The coffee was excellent too, and I have high standards. Our order was taken in a timely fashion and food followed the same way. Menu items were all reasonably priced and selection was exactly on point for what you would expect from a high end breakfast restaurant. I ordered an omelette and pumpkin pancakes and it was all excellent and served without wait. The pumpkin pancakes were the bomb! I highly recommend Lida's as the premier Northwoods breakfast restaurant. 5 star on all points. ...

My egg whites were undercooked. I told the waitress. She said ok. As I finished my breakfast, she came by with the bill. I asked her what she was going to do about the eggs. She looked confused, then she asked if I would like her to have the kitchen remake the eggs. I looked at her and asked if that was my bill and she said yes. I asked if the eggs were on the bill. She said yes. I asked her if she felt I should pay for something I couldn't eat? Then she rolled her eyes at me and said she would take them off. Worst waitress I have ever seen. Would rather stand around and talk then make sure the customers are taken care of. I had her before, and she stood at another customers table after taking my order, and talked to them the whole time I was there. Another waitress took care of me while she goofed off. I will leave if I ever get her for a...
