Nick's Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Mount Hope

After living here for 7 years I finally tried nicks pizza. We ordered chicken parm pizza, a Stromboli and spaghetti and meatballs. The food was surprisingly good. Never eating there before and having no expectations, I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and tasty. I’m pretty tough on most places because I’m a jersey guy originally and Hoboken is my go to pizza town. The restaurant was clean and the staff seemed friendly enough. Their were a couple guys making pizza and they smiled and said hi when I walked in. A younger lady quickly asked if I needed help, and the prices are very reasonable. The only complaint I have is the lady that took my order over the phone was rude and treated me like I was inconveniencing her by calling in my order. I will definitely support this local...

Anyone claiming otherwise must either be mistaken or not genuine. Family-owned businesses face enough challenges without unwarranted negativity or attempts to tarnish their reputation.

The service here is consistently warm and welcoming, which is a testament to the care and dedication that comes from a family-run establishment. You can truly taste the love and effort in every bite. For a place almost 60 years in business, & as part Italian myself, I’m disappointed. Ordered the eggplant parm. It was premade frozen eggplant with the whitest melted cheese, I’ve ever seen in my life. I didn’t get why they didn’t brown it. Never seen that before. Instantly got hit with the freezer burn taste & to boot it was ice cold in the middle. They took it back wrapped it in foil and reheat it until it was warm. .05 out of 10.
